I use a spinning rod 8 to 10 pound mono with a swivel.Use a faster action rod to help with line stretch.

I have the Meetle and had it for a few years ,fished it hard and the drag went out.Took it to Academy to get it fixed and they gave me a new one no questions asked.There H20 line is really good for the money plus there customer service is great.

Zoom fluke weightless with a 4/0 ewg. Arkansas Shiner is my go to color.

Getting time for hair jigs

You can't ever count out Rick,He will go till his last day.He has won everything serveral times over.Im sure they will make room for the old school boys.They built Bassmasters.

Rage Swimmers ,Really like the new baby swimmer.

I really like the Rage Craw on the Rage rig.I keep it moving on the close to the bottom banging off rocks.Most the craw dad's in the river move pretty quick not to be a meal.

Been a Rageaholic a long time,The Craw and Menace are great alone or as trailers.The baby swimmer is a Smallie killer.You won't be dissapointed.

Punisher and Gapens craw jig are my main go to.Both great for river Smallmouth.I use the craw jig all year,a real sleeper.

Went yesterday all they would hit was a black hair jig .Lift and drop really slow.We have had a cold snap the past couple of days.

Throw them on a fast action spnning Rod.8 to 10 lb test line.A little stiffer rod action gives good sensitivity.99 percent of the time 1/8 ounce ball head.

I use Lews and SK alot.I Hope it's for the better and we don't loose quality.
