Personal Favorite Lure

Featured Replies

What is your personal favorite lure? I like the Livingston Lures Primetyme SQ 2.0, the Xcite Baits XB-1 Squarebill Crankbait, and the LiveTarget Baitball Popper.

I'd rather throw different types of plastic over any one specific type of hard bait.

I'll cycle threw the whole bag if I have too.

So in keeping with your question, I caught the most fish last year useing a Rage Cut R and a Fat Max ribbon tail.

But tomorrow it could be something different.

Definitely a rage craw. I can flip/pitch, punch, dead stick, swim and buzz it.

Love all the baits....hard, soft, twitching, walking, cranking.  Football jig or a tube would be my money bait.

For the past few years it has been a jig and craw.

That's easy...Topwater!

Frog

Jig or some type of rage product. Least favorite is topwater

Trick worm T rigged, Candy bug

My favorite way to catch fish is a Booyah Pad Crasher,,,,,,,,,,by far.

But when I want to catch fish.............5 inch Yum Dinger,,,,,,,,,wacky or texas rigged.

My favorite lure to use is a buzzbait . They are a blast .  They dont catch  the most fish  though . This past summer was a good buzzbait season .

5" green pumpkin wacky weightless, 3/8 ounce mop jig with any craw trailer, Texas rigged craw, spinnerbait, and a whopper plopper

Favorite to fish swaiver 168, best to catch the KVD 1.5 in bluegill

Bandit 100 and a Tube or Kalins 5" grub (tube probably gets the nod because it is more versatile)

Yep, mine too. Weightless with the tail dipped in some chartreuse Spike It Dip-N-Glow.

Just to be more original, my favorite reaction bait is the Livetarget Threadfin Square Bill crank (Baitball Series). It's one of those post-spawn and fall lures, fishing from the banks, that the bass chase it up to your feet sometimes.

it's hard to pick just one but if i had to i think it would have to be the spro bronze eye poppin' frog. Not much beats a good frog bite. except maybe when they're knocking slack in your line to get a crankbait, in which case i agree with @fishballer06 DT's are a go to.

My favorite lure is the fish's favorite lure. But if they bit a spinnerbait all the time that's all I'd throw, and a popper..

My personal favorites to cast and catch with are a Texas rigged Ol' Monster(red bug and black red glitter) and a chatterbait(white, black and blue, breaking bream) with a Strike King Rage Swimmer(green pumpkin) trailer. Those are my confidence baits as well. Will be doing my best to add more baits to the favorites and confidence list this year. ?
