  1. The little scissors with the angled tip out of the cosmetic section. Ive got a pair ive had 5-6 years and are still razor sharp. They have finger rings that work great for putting a landyard on.
  2. I got on one of the most amazing bites of my life on that bait. The lake I was on had 30' clumps of algae floating randomly here and there. Bass were jumping out of the water all along the edges grabbing egg dropping dragonflies. Was having mixed results until I got to thinking what I had that mimicked a D.F. Found a weightless nories bug, cast on spinning gear was JUST WHAT THEY WANTED. I'd honestly forgot about them!
  3. The little peices at each end of the spool shaft. Unscrew your cast control knob and look inside it. The shim is the mtl. on the inside of the cap. Tightening the knob causes more resistance which slows the spool. There is another one on the opposite side of the reel, often under a bearing.
  4. Have u tried loading ur itunes songs on a non apple product? I had to burn a cd then rip it back.Itunes would not work with my mp3 player or android phone. ..Also they require your credit card info to use a store bought itunes gift card...Why in the heck do they need ur credit card for something you've already paid for????
  5. Get the samsung galaxy s3. I got mine last week and couldnt be happier. It does everything very, very well. I don't care what features the current our future generations of Iphones have, the exclusive content junk they put you through is ridiculous...The hoops you have to jump through with the itunes store to get YOUR media is a joke.
  6. Great review man. Glad to hear the parts are reasonably priced too. At the rate I get out these days my PQT may, may have a speed bump in about 7 years lol. Ill definetely keep an eye on the centrifugal blocks on my DBS equipped reels.
  7. In that situation your rod posistion is everything. Point it straight up at 12 oclock when it first hits the water, lower as it gets closer. I've even caught fish on cranks with the rod 2' in the water.
  8. The nature of buzzbaits. I've got half a dozen or so that have either been that way since new or knocked outta wack by big fish. All the different tuning tips out there do nothing. If it bugs ya you can try reachin out to megastrike, or the entity you bought them from, you never know.
  9. Stasher, yes both times it was a micro rod. BPS returned no questions asked. I work about a mile away so no biggie. Ended up going with the regular guides and have had no issues.
  10. Can't go wrong either way. They both balance just about as good any rod, regardless of price. I've had issues with losing guide inserts on the CL ( this has been the case with every pac bay guided rod I own). Some don't like the veritas reel seat. As said above, you probably need to handle them yourself.
  11. Abu cardinals have been very good to me over the years.

Sounds like the situation with your leave has alot to do with it. Take a week (no more) off. Keep your protein high, but dont eat as clean. Clear your head and eat some good food. You wont lose any mass, you'll just not have a pump. One things thats helped me when my head aint right is reading stuff and meditating on working out. Do you own the arnold encyclepedia of bodybuilding? Its the most motivating thing you can get your hands on. Really, really good stuff.
  13. In my experience your 100% correct. (although Im going on the finish of other revos, not the premier FWIW). The patriarch's finish has held up well.
  14. First thing first, make sure your getting current to the light. The mutlifunction switch is a possibility, though I doubt it cause brake lights shouldnt be affected by it. Does your steering wheel tilt? I had a truck where the turn signals wouldnt work unless the wheel was all the way up. Sometimes it would even buzz. I found that some of the wires had partially pulled out of the plug. Try moving the wheel up and down with the signal on for giggles. If wires are touching or your grounding out, I'd THINK you'd be blowing a fuse. Also dont rule out a bad balast or even a relay. Electrical issues in cars can be a booger to get a handle on sometimes.
  15. I keep a few of the 1/16 models with me whenever I'm creek and river fishing. Add a slider grub and their a dynamite numbers bait. Panfish, LM,spots, pike, you name it they bite it. They really flutter in the current quite nicely, and can be crawled over logjams and whatnot without much fear of snagging. The larger versions havent been as good to me. Just not as natural looking I supppose. I'd imagine if you got creative with your plastic and threw them in heavy vegation they'd get bit. But theres better options in my book.
  16. Barge---Woo is the man. He one quite a few tourneys with those reels. If you think about it, spooling one up with some stout line and pitching with them makes sense. No pendulum effect. I'd love to see a spincast with some of the higher end features if a premium baitcaster mitigated down. Probably will never happen though, wrong demographic...
  17. A big nightcrawler Texas rigged and pitched to cover is DEADLY. Better than any creature bait if you can keep the panfish off
  18. My favorite jig of all time. Very versatle. I cast/pitch with them and like clayton have used them to drop into the pads with sucess. They are the best jig Ive found to cast into hydrilla and retrieve horizontally. Never truly "punched" with them FWIW. A more streamlined jig may be a bit better, but Ill defer to those who've tried them in that app.
  19. Sammy 85 in MS AMERICAN SHAD Pointers obviuosly RC cranks skeet MR
  20. I think its awesome. Everyone said "there goes greenrtop" when GM moved in. When BP came in, it was a death sentence. They kept their head down and kept doing their thing. Anyone heard anymore about the rumor of cabelas locating at Watkins center?
  21. If you can wait, yes IMO. My wifes had a few issues with her maxx. Something about it resetting to "internet off" automatically. I am currently waiting on the S3 as well. It came down to it and the HTC X. The HTC not having a media card slot sealed the deal.....Eleven more days!!!
  22. Agreed. Androids gotten just as user friendly as apple, while still being "tweekable". Its not hard to do things like remove bloatware, remove ads from apps, add a custom rom, etc. The app market has caught also. Not to hate on the iPhone itself, they're the phones all others are measured against for a reason. They do just about everything quite well. The windows phones are VERY NICE also. User friendly and well thought out.
  23. I'm a Samsung nut. I think Verizon calls their's the nexus iirc. I've owned the first galaxy and will be getting the S3 on the 21st. Android is the way to go IMO. Not a fan of apple and all their exclusive content junk. My wife has the razor Maxx. Its nice, big screen, super fast, holds a charge for a long time. Cons? Camera leaves a bit to be desired, and the non removable battery.
  24. Money craws hold up pretty well. As do manns hardnose and zmans. However more brittle trailers (pacas, chiggers, zoom chunks, rage, hand pours I make) seem to be more pliable, and have better slow speed actions.
