  1. My rod list for the year.... Could get expensive 1. New Phenix K2 683 production rod, or go custom and use that blank. 2. Rep sample NRX 802c or custom on nfc hm blank 3. 6'5L Shimano Expride bfs rod, hard to find....
  2. I think you mean "made in china", made in japan is a good thing Sweet reel Trey
  3. I also dont like clicking spool tension knobs. I can dial my core in perfectly, my conquest on the other hand i always seem to be fiddling with it, lol.
  4. Haha, nice pair of alde's
  5. I think the pixy would be a great pitchin reel. I think the stock spool would be fine, but you could try the i'ze finesse spool which is very light.
  6. I saw that reel the other day on tw, i really wouldnt be surprised if he somehow ended up with it...
  7. Nice little reel there, a core 51 dragstar looks even better
  8. I also prefer centrifugal, its always been more consistent for me in all fishing conditions & applications...
  9. Look for part # 91, that clip will give you the click.
  10. Mean green has always worked well for me.
  11. Mono - Maxima Ultragreen Fluoro - Sunline Sniper
  12. Always have nail clippers in my bag. My new favorite tool is the kvd split ring pliers. Cuts braid like a champ.
  13. Id look for a fenwick smallie or crucial...
  14. That would be my line setups for those applications...
  15. definitely go with the tatula.
  16. 10lb braid on a 1000 size shimano is my favorite spinning setup.
  17. The mojo shouldnt even be in the same catagory with a dx, lol. Id go for the 702 personally, but this is coming from someone who prefers shorter rods, 6'8-6'10.
  18. Maybe in the future, im having fun with my finesse casting reels at the moment. Havent used a spinning reel in 6 months and dont really miss it...
  19. My favorite budget spinning reel is the stradic 1000 fj. My favorite highend would be the stella 1000 fe. Looking forward to getting a vanquish or the new stella in the future...
  20. Medium heavy for hollow body frogs, medium for everything else...
  21. Ive tried to like mag brakes, ive gone through 10 daiwas but i always go back to shimanos. Always feels good in my hands, i get maximum distance, less overruns, and best performance in windy conditions.
  22. Sv spool is really nice for extremely windy days and finesse fishing. I spooled the sv spool up with 8lb hybrid and was bombing 1/2oz lipless cranks. Then I tied on a 1/16oz shakeyhead and was getting almost the same distance as my tuned bfs shimano reels with shallow spools. Very impressive spool, if I ever step back into the daiwa world again it would most likely be a reel with the sv or ss air spool in it...
