Used to use my curado 51e's for 1/4oz lipless, dt-6's, dt-10's all day long. Now i use my core 51. They both work great.

Older Shimano Cumara Vs Newer Rods
The 1st gen cumara spinning models had a longer handle, much more comfortable. I like the newer red model, especially the blank and guides, just didnt like the short handle and red blank color...

Older Shimano Cumara Vs Newer Rods
Had my 6'8 spinning rod up for sale the other day , decided to keep it. I think they have one of the most unique reel seats. Keeping that and my 6'8 casting rod, one of the most versatile rods out there. Unfortunately sold my two prized cumulus rods but needed to recoup money. Still regret selling my 6'5 cumulus spinning model, that was an awesome rod. Only have one cumulus left now, my 6'5 casting rod.

Older Shimano Cumara Vs Newer Rods
Thats a great buy, im a huge fan of the 1st gen cumaras. Great handle/reelseat, SIC guides, light, and sensitive blank. You wont find a better production rod in 2015 for that money.

Line Stretch Test - 18 Types/brands
Pretty cool test. Surprised sufix did that well, i like there monos but it always seems like there line stretch alot. Only fluoro i mess around with is sniper, and its a love/hate thing for me. I like cxx, hybrid, maxima and floroclear so much that i rarely use anything else anymore.

Thanks John. I'm constantly changing my combos up so will see. I put the ktf alde on the ultima for the fast gearing and light weight. Have the conquest on the glorious because its regular fast, so the slower gear ratio works better for moving baits. I can't wait any longer for the new Aldebaran !!

Braid Vs Fluoro In Clear Water
You want your best chances of catching fish so its definitely best to use fluoro in clear water. Even better, braid with fluoro leader.

Loomis E6X????
Handled them at a fishing show today. I wasn't impressed. Also got to see the zodias, would definitely grab that over the e6 for a rod $200 and under...

Sounds like loomis or St croix will be your best best. If you dont mind going a little lighter the phenix redeye looks good. http://www.phenixrods.com/index.php?main_page=page&id=82 If you insist on a jdm rod, id look into majorcraft, evergreen, and possibly gancraft.

Finesse, Baitcasters, Vs Standard
I prefer smaller reels. I have huge hands and the core 50/51 is still the best palming reel ive ever used.

Jdm - Shimano, Which Would You Do First?
So many options... Im always gonna vote Conquest 50/51 because i think its the best reel they ever made. Plus, there gonna run out eventually, might as well grab one while there still somewhat available...
-
Finesse Rod
Once you throw a weightless 3 inch senko on finesse casting gear you wont use spinning gear anymore

Where Would U Recommend Ordering A Scorpion From?
Japan lure shop, jpangler, japan tackle, and digitaka. All there prices vary and have to keep tabs on sale prices. Digitaka is free shipping, sometimes they have the best deal.

If You Could Only Have One Combo?
Jackall poison ultima 6'2L with my conquest 51s or cardiff 51dc

Stradic Ci4+ Review
I sold mine as well to fund finesse casting gear. Havent used a spinning reel since last summer. Sort of regret letting it go, the only technique i still like a spinning reel for is drop-shotting...
