  1. You speak my language, lol. Fishing & motorcycles
  2. Nice. I've gone back and forth alot on fishing shimanos vs daiwa/megabass. The two spools that shined the most to me was the air spool, and steez 105. Air covers all finesse fishing very well, and the steez spool really shines at 1/8oz plastics and 1/4-1/2oz hard baits.
  3. Not to start an argument, but a yumeya spooled 50e will smoke anything SV but the t3/ss air. Did a good amount of back to back testing with a yumeya spooled Aldebaran and steez sv105 spooled td ito/IS71. Go with the SV for 1/8oz+ plastics and versatility of throwing baits over a 1/2oz. Go yumeya for true bfs, 1/16oz plastics, 3/8-1/2oz baits max...
  4. X2 The whole technique specific rod thing really made me think I needed 6+ combos at all times. I also have a hard time passing up a good deal... Ive spent more money then I'd care to admit these past few years on combos that I really didn't need. After 5+ years of heavy fishing I've found my niche. I like jdm bfs gear. I only need a few finesse rods, mainly tinker with reels now.
  5. If you look around you can find an mb orochi xx in that range. Or 13 ***.
  6. About 99% of daiwa/megabass reels I've used have had a sticky clutch. I'd send it in to get serviced...
  7. Like alot of others, I'm just not a fan of the ACS reelseats. Never looked hard enough to see that the ms-x had one. I'll probably roll Jackall for my one piece rods, wouldn't mind a two piece corzza for little trips here & there...
  8. Nice smallies Mike, need a pic of that combo !!
  9. Thanks guys, 4lb yozuri hybrid is flatout my favorite finesse line.
  10. Got a nice one today...
  11. Megabass super eiger or 802c would be my choice
  12. Nice, I need one of those for the Ultima...
  13. Definitely, the pg was my first high end jdm rod over my cumulus & cumara's. I also remember how nice it was opening it up. The attention to detail is second to none. Only thing else is the Ultima, megabass, and evergreen...
  14. Beautiful rods John !!. It's all down hill from here once you get into the jdm rod game... The pg's are awesome rods and I will always regret selling mine, lol.
  15. I really like them. I prefer the lighter small profile knobs on my bfs reels.
  16. I use casting gear for dropshot, but if I was going for a $150 spinning setup, it would be a new *** with pflueger president.
  17. Nice combo, bfs xg feels really good on the megabass bfs rods
  18. 6'8m cumara & 6'5m cumulus have always been my favorite spinning rods.
  19. Haha, no hate. Just prefer the older shimanos. Same with daiwa, give me the classics...
