-
Amount Of Rods And Reels
to add to that, my chronarchs are about 10 years old and havent had a single problem with them! curados are about 5 and are showing a little wear but for the price they have paid for themselves twice!

Amount Of Rods And Reels
very smooth! casts light lures awesome! because you know how some frogs dont cast too great! lol i dont know how long these things last but so far its smoother and lighter than my curado's and chronarchs.

Lubrication?
when i was a very active ATA member shooting trap almost 4 days out of the week, i would clean almost everything on my shotgun with choke and carb cleaner, and use bar and chain lube on my reciever. this is on a PERAZZI MX-10RS. a very nice gun and i probably put around 80,000 rounds through that gun and it always worked flawlessly. but on a side note, on my winchester sx3, choke and carb cleaner isnt what i use because if it gets on the camo on the foregrip, the camo will literally fall off the synthetic grip. Hope this helps!

Winchester Super X 3
Just wondering if anyone has one, shot one, wants one and what they think about it. My point of view of it is it is a really good hunting gun, i mainly use mine for waterfowl. just wondering your thoughts of the gun, thanks!

Remington Express 870 Jamming
but i is pretty reoccuring on 870 EXPRESS models, wingmasters and the very early EXPRESSES didnt have the issues the brand new ones. the extractor, along with the rest of the internals on those guns are very cheap. i would have a whole parts kit for it.

Rounds in the home
right now i have about 2,000 rounds of 12GA from 2003-2008 i had at least 40,000 a year lol but i also used to be on 4 trap leagues, and shot competatively across the country and averaged around 1,000 rounds a week. very little rifle and pistol rounds though- 200.... maybe

Amount Of Rods And Reels
I actually just picked up an 8' H Fast tip, skeet reese rod by wright & mcgill for $80.00 and a regular abu garcia revo 6:4:1 and i love it, picked it up for frogs. i dont think you would need one quite that long but im 6.5 ft tall and prefer a longer rod for frogs, deep worming and flipping. everything else is 6'6" or 6'10".i have always stuck with falcon rods and a couple loomis's with curado or a chronarch's and i like this new set up alot. over all it cost me $110, but i had a $100 gift card for gander mtn for the reel. hope this helps!

Swim Jig In Spring
i personally like 1/4 - 3/8 oz swim jigs, and i think they are most effective in the pre and post spawn period. I have cought them on swim jigs all year too, i like throwing them in channels on rip rap and what not. I fished a tournament last year on minnetonka mid summer and it produced really good in rip rap in the channels when your going from lake to lake.

What Lures Work Best In The Rain?
Not sure if it has been mentioned but i agree with the faster reaction baits in rain, the RAT-L-TRAP by bill lewis lures is an awesome lure for ripping over or through weeds. i like the 3/4 oz with 20lb mono line and a med hvy fast tip rod to get good power, if ripping through the weeds or not i like that set up best for the RAT-L-TRAP.

Alabama Rig In Minnesota Idea.....
The fact that the middle one is an inch or so longer makes for a better instinct strike since its closer to the fish (in most cases), not by much but it seems like it would get hit more than any others. Espescially since i just have big willow blades on the other four and a 5''-6'' shad-a-licious in the middle, so its going to be more appealing when they get up to it. just my $0.02

Tequila Sunrise Plastics?
my favorite color by far of the powerbait line, tequila sunrise 10'' power worm, t-rigged, amazing. especially like it on deep outside weed lines!

Pit Boss
i did really good last year carolina rigging them on gravel/sand bars! and of course throwing one on a flippin jig is good.
-
Alabama Rig In Minnesota Idea.....
And theres nothing wrong with catching some big stripers! i got into them last year on the st.croix, the spot was literally two miles from my house! nothing over five pounds, but, what a riot! just like what you said too they were feeding on shad on the surface, every cast for about 20 minutes was good for a fun striper!
