Ok just bought a place in Florida as a second home, I started diving when they say water proof what are the options for ones that are totally submercival? When you say trash what so you mean by that? What can a guy expect to find on the beaches with good equipment?

I agree to some extent. I think profile is important depending on there feeding habit. Like most predators fish are no different. They do not want expend more energy then they will intake. One fallacy I have seen over the years is to downsize in the winter when bass are less active. However a bass is just as likely to eat a big bait in the winter if it is placed properly to where the bass does not expend any energy to get a decent size meal. It can eat that big bait and then not have to feed for a long time. Other times fish seem to want something smaller like a narrow worm for example. I think what separates good fisherman from great fishermen is the the better fishermen let the bass tell them what they are in the mood for whereas average fishermen tend to try to force what they like on the bass. As far as colors go I think that they are more for catching us and not bass. I would tell people to get some dark colors they like and have confidence in and fish them. Have some blacks, blues, reds, greens and some bright colors of your choosing.

That is good to know. Most people up here are trout cats craps Perch gills walleyes and the like Other then the occasional Amish family I rarely see people keep bass

I think bass fishermen and brookie fishermen are the only ones that look down on selective harvest. Personally I don't keep either but that is because I like the taste of other fish species other. I will however not judge someone as long as they follow the letter of the law and the meat goes to good use.

I have caught many bass on those many years ago. I would not be ashamed to throw them now. I don't know why as we mature as fishermen that we sometimes forget our roots. I still carry a panic box that has an original floating rapala and some rooster tails along with white grubs and some tubes. Might actually add these to the box.

Oh god yes. Three people would get a hot shower then it went to warm then cold. It could never keep up. I have since moved so I do not know the brand. I also never noticed the difference in the water or gas bills.

For a small family I think they are fine. However we had ten people staying at our house one year for Christmas and it was a nightmare.

Good for you. I did the same thing back WHEN I was married. However one trip the boat broke down and I dropped my cell in the water. I was five hours late picking her up. She was not the happiest shopper.
