  1. your treble guy is a butthole..who sells packs of 11. I've never noticed they sell them in packs of 6, which is what I use, and packs of 11. Lol....ignorant..but genius.
  2. TW 25 days of Xmas sale just started!!
  3. Huh..? Pump your breaks Francis....I don't know how you got that I'm telling you they are KVD's being sold under the LC name.... Hopefully this is more clear: The new 6.99 LC, according to a person that deals /w LC, isn't what you're typically accustomed to getting in a LC name brand crankbait. They are only quality controlling/inspecting 1 out of 100-I'm sure you can make the leap to what that means. It's hooks, according to a couple folks that have used them, have been called "crap" and "dull". (obviously this is relative to the hooks you normally are used to on a LC crankbait.) Paint is allegedly solid. These baits most likely will be your typical mass produced OEM crankbait (not as "quality driven" as say for example the LC 1.5 DRS.) much like the LS 3/4 and KVD 1.5 but it will have a LC name. Nobody is saying this is a "bad" thing. Just answering the OP's question as to why for the decrease in price. Neither can I.... or anybody else in this thread....nobody is "complaining" about not having to pay 13$ . Cool story. I've had more KVD's break and crack that I prefer but it's still not a bad bait vs its price. They also seem to run inconsistent but again, that's what you get for a lower priced crank bait. Still...decent bait. The quality/performance difference between the RC 1.5 and KVD 1.5, to me, was noticeable. I would like the name of your treble guy...I wish upgrade trebles were only 1$ per bait... Same quality of...a KVD 1.5? Sure....but a, for example, "regular" silent 13.99 1.5, would all but guarantee they aren't even close to the same bait. Again, nobody is arguing this is a bad bait...it's just most likely not the same bait as the one that costs twice as much. For what it's worth, I will be buying the BE Gill color.
  4. Apparently the hook quality went down the drain and the 6.99 LC doesn't use good stock hooks. Also, according to somebody that deals /w LC, they are only quality controlling 1 out of every 100. Also no tungsten ball. Paint is supposedly pretty good but if you're thinking you're getting a "real" LC 1.5 for 6.99, it sounds like you are not getting a bait close to on par /w the regular 1.5's.. Most likely a KVD 1.5 /w different colors and the LC name.
  5. Dobyns heavy, 4 power, is closer to most companies medium heavy. The 734 is a really versatile it's not a very heavy power rod. there is no industry standard for power and sction of a blank.
  6. What an awesome game! Rodgers is awesome. Side note.... Do you know why the Lions lost that game… Calvin Johnson....3-44-1 td....throw him the ball! Sraffird missed him onto deep shots. Keep doing it… Four yard screens aren't getting it done

Skullcandy for sure. I think Dicks sells them for 20$.

  9. The statement was referencing the terrible Cleveland Browns, not it's Fanbase. The organization clearly dis likes Johnny Manziel. There's plenty of players that have off the field issues no better or worse than his and are starting in the NFL because the team needs them. You don't bench The best quarterback on your roster because he saw a stupid video of him partying and doing nothing illegal regardless of his pledge to sobriety. The entire organization as a whole is a dumpster fire and has the least talented skill set on both offense and defense. In less there goal is to draft a new quarterback every year and then play stupid high school games with him, The team should be starting them every game for the rest of the season. The Browns have deficiencies far greater than quarterback on both sides of the ball that should be addressed in the draft with the early pics they'll have. Not to mention Alex Mack, probably one of the best centers in football, is most likely running away from the Browns after this year as far as he possibly can is going to leave an even bigger hole to fill. It remains to be seen whether or not Johnny is a good NFL talent because the sample sizes so small. I don't necessarily think he's great but he should be more than serviceable in the few years it's going to take to rebuild the team… If that's even possible with the owners
  10. Said no man ever. Grab your purse and head back to the martini bar!
  11. 2 teams way out of the playoff picture put up one hell of a game for MNF. CLE hates manziel...
  12. I believe it. It was ugly.
  13. If there wasn't snow last night, I fully believe Denver loses that game. NE's defensive injury woes were blatantly noticeable when Denvers "run game" ran all over them last night. The offensive line and that run game didn't all of a sudden turn a magical corner and become viable. If Kubiak wants a game manager, he's got one. If their run game can do it next week vs SD as most should, I'll start coming around. They have had great match ups where they should have been able to run the ball against terrible defense and offenses and got into shoot outs. Kubiak better pray Talib and/or Harris don't get hurt.

  15. No, it's labeled as Mag Heavy in the Fury and Savvy line. In the Champ series its simply labeled as MHXF but is the same rod with a longer handle.
  16. What...a....game! Denver earned that win.
  17. You've got that flipped around. Their MH (3 power-non flipping series) is more of what you would consider a M power rod.
  18. To get more out of your spool of line. I use very expensive fluorocarbon line and /w backing and measuring off exact backing #'s and amount of line that comes off the fluorocarbon spool, I can get 3-4 "fresh" spools of line on a reel. I've never found the need to have more than 75 yards of line on a spool and I usually only have 55-65.
  19. I think the Friday night fishing starts at the beginning of the year on the outdoor channel or around that time. Zona is part of that line up so I would assume that's when it resumes its air time. The friday night outdoor line up I think runs for roughly 7(ish) new episodes in consecutive weeks and then has a break and 1-2 new episodes and 1-2 weeks of reruns after that before a 4(ish) month break. Zona airs twice a year so that's when the outdoor channel runs their Friday night fishing line ups. When he's done, its done. UMF is still on TV. I just saw an episode last week. No idea when the new ones air but I much prefer MLF 11 times out of 10 over MLF. The new FLW's ran on NBC sports not too long ago but I don't think there were ever re-ran. They are on my on-demand to rewatch though.
  20. Measure off XX amount of line or however much you want to use /w a tape measure. Put a nail or screwdriver in the ground at the beginning of where you started and a marker where to end. Walk the line off from start to finish. Spool the line. Or... Buy a 6$ line counter and clip your line through it when spooling.
  21. ATL is a really bad football team....but still atop the WC /w GB.. I didn't watch any of the NYG vs WSH game but how on earth was it 20-0 in the 4th? Was Eli that bad? NO sucks. Jeff Fisher is really good at going 8-8
