703 705cb is better for squarebills but the 703 isnt too far off action wise I wouldnt worry about any of them "not enough rod". . A light action rod can handle those fish without issues.

understandable. I've heard they are moving warehouses and want to sell everything and I've also heard they are closing their doors. Either way, they are a very, very tiny business that does more business than the 2-3 employee team can handle during their sales. They always run a higher % off than TW as well and they don't replenish their stock quickly or at all on some things. They are always extremely slow /w shipping and order confirmation.

I'm in the same boat. I've ordered from them before in the past and there notoriously slow because they're a small operation. However it's extremely irritating when they won't answer phone calls or emails this year. I highly doubt it anything fishy is going on and you and I both will most likely get the stuff we ordered but when is beyond me…I got an order confirmation right after I placed the order but I have heard nothing sense and it's been 10 days. Edit: I just tried to call him after I typed this post out and they answered the phone! They are swamped with orders and my order that was on the fourth is in their "sixth batch quote and it will be most likely shipped tomorrow. No need to worry I guess.

I use 1/4oz 90% of the time but I'm also throwing them in cover/grass and in very shallow water that's 6 foot or less. I use 3/8 if I need to get down into the grass that's thick. A 1/4oz swim jig will get down and through grass much better than people think.

Upon ordering I fully expected the shipping to take a while. I've ordered from them in the past on BF and I think I recall just getting an order confirmation right when I bought it and then never get any sort of shipping/tracking info/confirmation. I think I actually had to call to get it sent to me. I don't expect anything weird going on and my package will probably show up in a week or so but it's irritating when they don't answer any e-mails or pick up their phone. Anybody order from BTD and receive their order yet? I know they are notoriously slow this time of year and shipping is lengthy. I ordered some stuff on the 7th and haven't heard anything back as far as shipping and nobody is answering their phones.

So you don't wear any store bought clothes with a brand name? TW is just one of those companies that has earned such an amazing reputation that you would be hard pressed to find a single person that would ever mock somebody for wearing their clothing.

Do you have a different way to source the 7:1 gear sets aside from the TackleTrap? They seem to be on BO for ages and then once in stock are gone within an hour. I seem to only be able to get 1 at a time =( a need a few.
