  1. Dragging in open water-893 Any cover pitch/flip-894
  2. Magic craw The go to Black/blue Only 3 colors i use from dirty jigs when pitching/flipping
  3. That rod works for everything and gets praise as the favorite NRX spinning rod offered. My vote is the ci4+
  4. Find a reel that fits comfortably in your hand when walking a frog and get the fastest gear ratio offered with that reel. I prefer the previous zillion and the tatula
  5. Dobyn's hasn't made a rod /w a cork foregrip to date....
  6. Bearing count is a poor measure of a reals quality. A reel with 6-8 bearings is more than enough. The lexa will serve fine as a deep cranking reel. If you want something different, look for the previous generation daiwa zillion (not the TWS). Bullet proof reel that that will perform flawlessly and last a lifetime.
  7. The first day of Fall is still a month away and the water temp is still mid 70s....relax gramps
  8. https://www.another site.com/Punisher-Lures/Punisher-Lures-Tangle-Free-Line-Conditioner.cfm\ i've never seen it at Cabela's but I'll look tomorrow.
  9. 784..especially if you are fishing a little deeper water. longer length will pick up line quicker and the tip is faster on the 784 than the 744. it's an excellent rod for dragging really anything...especially jigs.
  10. Balance-Dobyns Reel seat/comfort-Dobyns Blank-St. Croix. It isn't leaps and bounds better but SCIV is a good blank. Taper-St. croixs are faster Power-4 power dobyns=St. Croix MH Build quality-wash
  11. Preseason is fun when the first game starts and 2 minutes later I'm ready for it to be over. Weeks 1-2 and 4 are useless to draw any conclusions. Watching 50 minutes of backups and hopefuls loses its appeal quick. The week 3 dress rehearsal is hit or miss. The GB/Philly game this week should be a fun one to watch. Losing Jordy sucks but if anybody can develop a WR, it's GB. Interested to see if it's going to be Cobb/Adams/Janis or Cobb/Adams/McGomery. Really excited about Adams taking Jordy's role. He's really, really good.
  12. A website where people would meet others to cheat on their spouses. The Website was hacked twice in the past week and lots and lots of personal information was leaked to the public including emails email addresses and names that included government high-ranking officials and police chiefs. As of today apparently two people took their life based on this Ashley Madison hack one of which was a police chief.
  13. Cute trade offer there smallies Not a chance
  14. maybe...but you stole peyton in the 5th from me
  15. i love my team...oh i love my team
  16. Good draft guys! Only 2 more weeks!!!! Even the guy that was autodrafted for not showing has a good team
  17. join the draft ladies....9 minutes
  18. Draft starts in less than 2 hours guys!!! Draft order is randomized 1 hour prior to draft! If anyone has any questions or problems logging in, contact me via PM on here
  19. if you are looking for a left hand 6:3 ballistic, i can beat that price
  20. I think the Helium Blank is better than the DX but the build of the DX is better than the H3 so it evens it out. If the H3 balanced as well as the dobyns, the helium would win every time in my book. I had mine balanced by a local guy for pocket change. the butt cap is surprisingly easy to remove. Mine balanced right under the reel seat. I really like the foam locking nut on the Heliums, too. 1. i use a 51 curado on mine. I don't remember what it weights but I think its around 7oz give or take. 2.Not the exact weight but it's very, very light. 3. Crisp, yes. Like an NRX, no. 4. Yes, and yes, it's pretty close. 5. Dragging a 1/2oz jig, yes. Pitching/flipping into cover /w a 1/2oz jig, I wouldn't prefer it but you would probably be okay. i like to use "more" rod than some so it's probably fine in light weeds. It would be fine for open water rocks.
  21. I own the full grip H3 7'1 MHXF. Power wise they are close. St. Croixs XF is one of the fastest tips made. The H3 is what I would consider a Fast taper. Sensitivity wise it's on par /w the Dobyns Champion Extreme. Balance is good not great. I usually throw weightless senkos around cover /w it as well as swing heads in the 1/2oz range in rock. If you want an open water rod, get the M.
