Training camp hasn't even started flyfisher....relax. Philly and Dallas both have schedules that aren't going to be a cakewalk and are pretty much on par /w each other /w Dallas having a game or two worse having to play Green Bay, Seattle (although this one is in Dallas) , and NE in week 5 in Dallas which could be Brady's "coming out". Both teams should go at worst 9-7/10-6 / 11-5. Philly's saving grace as long as they don't lose any "stupid" games is Dallas (I'll call this here) losing to GB. I don't think 9-7 gets any NFC team in this year either. You're going to be in for a heartache if a superbowl is the least you'll be happy with. ZERO chance Philly(or Dallas) gets past GB unless Rogers breaks his collarbone and Jordy/Cobb go down.

Some are held with a c-clip and some are pressed in. To remove the c-clip shields, take either a sharp, small hook or box cutter blade and simply push and lift the ring off. I couldn't tell you if it's easy to re-install them. once I take them off, they stay off. To remove the pressed in shields on bearings you often find in side plate bearings, you "simply" use a box cutter blade and place it in the inner most gap closest to the spool shaft hole and lift. There's a super fine line to ruining a bearing here. you should practice on a few bad bearings first. You have to be very careful not to ruin the inner race or the bearings inside. I've done it dozens of times and it's really simple...now. It isn't necessary to do this. I just take all the shields off my bearings to pass time in the winter and clean every inch of them.

I used the older cork version of it a few years ago. It's a great punching rod. The MF tip was great for heavy grass/slop.

I routinely punch weeds/pads/grass on the river in 1-4 feet of water and find fish.

I personally wouldn't want to throw dt20 type cranks on the 705. I'd be looking at the 765 or 804. I use the 705 glass for squarebills/mid divers. works perfect.

Interesting find. Most, if not all, of their soft baits are made by Big Bite Baits which is evident as they are all direct replicas and they don't try to hide it. I just found their new squarebill on their website: http://www.gandermountain.com/modperl/product/details.cgi?pdesc=Gander-Mountain-Square-Bill-100-Crankbait&i=848226 While I find it hard to believe SK would agree to sell their bait under the GM name, that Sexy Shad replica sure looks a heck of a lot like the KVD 1.5 down to the eyes....weird. I would have thought BPS would have done that before GM.
