Cranking Battery Recommendations?
My cranking battery isnt holding its charge. I have a 3 bank 15a charger with a 24v trolling motor. Electronics are hooked up to cranking battery. I charges up fine but once i turn on electronics and use the power trim, the voltage , per the helm humminbird, drops to 12.0- 12.2 sometimes 11.9. No issues starting the motor but, like today, i was on the TM for a couple hours and the gps keep reading "low voltage" and i had to jump the cranking battery froma TM battery. It charges when i give it gas on the hot foot to 13.9-14.2 but will drop at idle to 12.6 and then if i shut it off, below that. First tile i've had to jump it i knew this was coming . Motor is a johnson fast strike 175. Any recommendations? Id like somethibg worry free.

Saw that a couple days ago. The sidescan pictures were incredible. Happy the family got some closure. Doesn't look to be foul play involved thankfully.

Dobyns - New Contender For The $100 Rod Catergory
DX for all bottom contact baits. Depending on the quality of the Fury blank, either Fury or Savvy for moving baits. Savvy tapers are ideal for a lot of baits I throw i.e swim jigs/spinnerbaits/chatterbaits/swimbaits/frogs/etc Champ CB for cranks. The savvy are overpriced for what they are. Good 100$ rod. Not a good 180$ rod.

Dobyns - New Contender For The $100 Rod Catergory
They release didn't get pushed back. They posted earlier this month that they had been shipped to retailers. Retailers still have to receive them, update inventory, etc. I'm sure you'll start seeing them pop up within a week.

How Much Does It Weigh?
Not sure what model you have but you can find it in this list http://boatspecs.iboats.com/Cajun_by_Mastercrafters_Corp.__Bass_Boat__1989/bp/31br1071c11y When estimating weight, I like to always estimate towards the upper end of the spectrum. I think you're pretty close with your estimates but I'd add 75# to be safe. You then have gear, batteries, TM, tools/anchor, etc. I'd ballpark 2000lb -2200 to be safe if you're correct about your boat/trailer/motor. You can just go to any weigh station or local dump /w a scale and back everything up to it and get an exact weight that way.

Dawia T3 For Finesse
Flush the bearings, loosen spool tension, lower break settings, put the 3d on long cast. I have 3 1016s that all are used for moving baits. All cast very well with little effort. A shallow sv spool will run you around 100$ I believe the rcs 1000 sv is around 95 give or take.

Dawia T3 For Finesse
Which T3? Ballistic, no. 1016, amazing spool but it's still a little too "deep" for what I would want for light line fishing. No idea what it's bottom range is but I can throw a 3/16oz swim jig without a trailer no problem on a 3 power dobyns. It's spool might be a little too controlled for actual BFS lure range if that makes sense. The T3 MX will have similar performance. Air, i believe this or the T3 SV would be your best bet in the T3 family as far as BFS goes. I'm talking sub 1/4oz. I have no experience with either of these reels and know very little about their lure range but they are considered BFS reels I believe. Hogsticker will have a lot more knowledge than I will on this. You're next option would be to just throw an SV spool in a model and get some hedge hog air bearings.

Berkley E-Motion?
Lots of praise as far as price vs performance goes. If they are anything like the Lightning rod, you're getting a solid rod for the price.

Berkley E-Motion?
I found them at a local gander mountain a few months ago. Felt decent. I dislike the oversized butt cap

Rebel Pop R
Assuming you are referring to the Pop-R sold right now and not the version from 30 years ago, no. There are many times you can go out early in the AM or just before dusk and both an inexpensive Pop-R and a higher priced topwater will catch the same amount of fish. However, there are many times that people will throw their pop-r, not get bit and think they aren't biting a popping style bait. This is where the Yellow Magics, Ricos, Pop X, and others excel. They have a unique body/sound/blurp that is "unique" to certain topwaters that can attract bass when others fail. Yellow Magic

- Don't Do What I Did (Arashi Squarebill)
Though not my personal choice, straight braid is fine and not your issue and it is unlikely your hookset. I have quite a few Storm Arashis. They are what I use a lot in rocks. The hooks are junk. I initially thought they were okay as i didn't have much of an issue when I first used them. I've bent and broken quite a few of the hooks. Change them out. - Don't Do What I Did (Arashi Squarebill)
