Why does it matter? Do you realistically think that after 15 years of use, you break your rod, you are entitled a free replacement under "warranty"? Albeit, it does happen. St. Croix has great customer service. The warranty isn't there for a 15 year mishap. A defect in the rod will show up within the first year or use and more times than not, sooner than later. If you break a rod 10 years down the rod, you are certainly entitled to try to get a new rod and I wouldn't blame you. I wouldn't count on it though. Pick one you feel is more comfortable to fish and use it. Avid is a great line of rods. The differences between the 2 blanks are so minimal it's going to come down to cosmetics, not performance.

braid color is more for your eyes than a fish being able to see or not see it.. i'd fish pink braid if i had some.

it's the reel or you. your brakes might be too tight. you may have got too much oil on the spool shaft. those weight baits can be throw more than adequately on that rod/reel. I can throw 1/4oz swim jigs /w a trailer further than I need to on a 7'3 MHF rod and 15# fluoro

I've been using it in 14# for most of the spring so far /w squarebills. It did need some L&L treatment but it does live up to its name. Abrasion resistance is good not great. I like the line.

definitely. This season looks to have a lot of promise. Here's to a giant let down.....for...PHILLY . Aside from the RB situation that will probably be addressed in the draft (one time for Gurley), Dallas has been kinda boring and I think will probably look a lot like last year. Philly is definitely going to interesting to see how their offense plays out. Aside from Wash, the NFC East division games should be primed for greatness this year.

I know. Bills/eagles should be good. Seems like theres more "big time games" i.e rodgers vs manning, peyton vs brady, etc than last year. If the stars align, I'll be at lambo for the dal/gb game.

It's fine.... as long as your line isn't spooling more on the top or the bottom you'll be good.

I know they sell the generic pull and push plastic type. I'd be hard pressed to see the fine needle syringe on a shelf in a pharmacy. I know heroin was an issue for a while but it's been a few years. I mean..they sell bongs in music shops..

Has anybody ever stumbled across these pens that were empty? Albeit cheap, the best I can find is ebay. I cannot find these things anywhere. I've tried gun shops, lowes, menards, home depot, wal mart, auto shops. Am I missing I someplace? Looking for something to put just the finest drop of different oils on different parts of reels.
