  1. I didn't say I catch more fish in August than a spawning area. I simply pointed out how your statements that "spawning bass will bite anything, they are easy to catch, and it is not fishing" are factually incorrect. I appreciate the invitation. Unfortunately, I have no desire to visit New Jersey. Thanks bro!
  2. Factually, that is incorrect. throwing a worm on a hook and tossing it under a bobber doesn't require skill either. It's still fishing.
  3. Pegboard on hooks is where I keep all my extras.
  4. In Kentucky, it's illegal to carry ice-cream in your back pocket.
  5. 15# fluoro or 15# mono depending on where I'm fishing.
  6. Wireless printers are great. I set my Father-in-law up with one last year. The most entertaining feature of these is having multiple wireless devices set up on his wifi (cell phones/tablets/etc) and printing random photos from all over the house to his office.

  8. Mike makes some quality stuff. If you like doing things yourself, just put some BOSS punch hubs and put a skirt on them. i like the hubs a lot.
  9. Unfortunately, there's very little (if any) factual information on who "invented" a swim jig. Only claims. The swim jig was been utilized in the La Crosse, WI area and the pools above over 30 years ago. Tom Monsoor and Jimmy Johnson popularized swimming a jig through shallow river vegetation after the cat was let out of the bag as to how and why there were winning so much. Tom is one of the nicest guys I've ever met. A straight retrieve will get you bit. I prefer to fish mine through wood cover and lilly pad fields.
  10. Vibrashocks my favorite. IF you only made a blue craw color /w 4 orange strands I would stop having to make my own on your heads.
  11. green. prefer yellow i'd fish pink if i could findsome
  12. solid logic right here.....
  13. Heavy Vegetation -65# braid Anything else-20# fluoro
  14. Yeah it will work. when you get that low, the rod becomes a very intricate part of the operation. I would personally rather fish the 701 /w those tiny weights due to the fact it will load much easier. Being you don't want a whippy rod though, the 702 will suffice just fine. Both will protect 7#line fine.
  15. Now you will have 3 solid months in the summer to prepare for the Eagles finishing behind Dallas again Seriously though, Congrats.
  16. Strike King.
  17. In a Vacuum, no. One can out fish the other in different conditions. The answer to this question is going to be redundant ....clear water.
  18. This is a bold face lie. Grant can't use rods over 7'. Don't let him tell you his tall tales of sin and debauchery of rods in the excess of 7'.
  19. 702 701 is a buggy whip
  20. If there's no Ice covering the water, you can effectively fish some sort of a craw style bait.
