  1. I made a run towards the Buffet when Raiders sister showed up. I wanted to get at least one last plate before she cleaned house.
  2. The only thing more stupid and lame than Star Wars/Star Trek...is Happy Potter. Nerd.
  3. I agree. I do like to throw a buzzbait over a spook initially though
  4. I haven't noticed that. The Cavitron just gets bent up very easily and has to be tuned after every fish. The one i have tied on right now is so mangled but it runs straight (some how), still catches em'.
  5. FALL IS HERE AND WALLEYE ARE ON THE CHEW! Tomorrow is football fish dry day. FINALLY!
  6. you're going to have to look on fishing forums buy/sell sections or the bay. To give you an idea of price, I sold 2 on this site a few months ago in good condition for 120$.
  7. professional anglers are on the water probably on average 150 more days a year than most so their sample size is significant enough to warrant a reason to use X hook over X hook because they have noticed a difference in hook up ratio and that one fish is the difference in (to be blunt) eating or not. For anybody else not fishing for a living, the difference is incredibly small. I personally feel like i get a better hook up ratio /w straight shank hooks but they also tear up soft plastics faster than a hot knife. I do use EWG for bulky plastics in open water but i tend to have more straight shank hooks than any other hook. If i'm not in heavy cover, I personally don't really care which hook I have. My hook up ratios are fine /w both. If I'm in heavy wood or slop, I want a straight shank hook every time.
  8. Find a sale on a dobyns savvy 734 and get a curado I.
  9. Cool. You can make up quotes. You can literally look up the info on the Dobyn's page where he and all his his pro staff post about the rods. so again, stop it.
  10. I've seen you write this a few times. Stop it. The 734 is the most versatile rod in the line up and anybody who fishes Dobyn's rods will tell you the same thing .Listen to any interview rich/gary do on Western Bass. They praise the 734. 734 would be much better suited for what you want to use and can more than any rod in the series. The 733, while it can work, will become a chore in cover. I own both.
  11. Universally as a whole vs every rod I've fished, probably a 2-3 In the 50$ and below range, it's probably a 9 or 10.
  12. Sometimes a plain skirt works fine. I rarely use a skirt + plastic trailer. More often than not, I don't ever use a skirt. I like R.I skinny Dippers or 5in Grubs.
  13. Instead of asking A community of people that don't work for the company , perhaps call the company...maybe that makes too much sense I don't know.
  14. Sunline shhoter. Best fluoro I've ever used. Like it quite a bit more than tatsu
  15. 70-80$ shipped probably. You can try to sell via forums but the rods used and only retails 120$ new. If you can get 90, take it.
  16. all things equal, i.e bank fishing the mississippi shore vs on a boat and not comparing a golf coures pond/local pond to a large reservoir, a boat...and it isn't even close.
  17. I do it to all my bright chartreuse cranks. I travel all over the state for my job so attaching them to my dash is just something that is neat to see day in and day out.
  18. Upgrade program is gone.
  19. Get up Drop Trow Ask them if it looks like it hurts Commence best day ever
  20. I use both regularly and have yet to crack any bills in or around big chunk rock. The paint gets beat up but there isn't a bait on the market that won't get scratched up on river boulders.
