Rage Craw "bama Bug"
no idea if they were ever on the main market but i went ahead and got more than enough. I really like the color. you don't notice the small amount of purple until light hits it. it really just looks like green pumpkin green flake on one side and a dark green/green flake on the other with small hints of purple here and there. great color.

Can't Win With Topwaters
That's okay. The most popular brand would be Hedon. They make the "Zara Spook" in a variety of sizes and are sold at just about every fishing store imaginable, even wal mart. They are a cigar shaped hard bait that when at rest sits vertical in the water and when retrieved correctly the come up on plane on the top of the surface of the water and dartfrom left to right. making the bait do this can take some patience but it's all about cadence and moving the slack in your line, not the bait with your rod. you tube zara spook and there are hundreds of videos. This bait is probably your answer.

Why Are Lefties So Discriminated Against???
it's catching on more and more it seems. I have always had to patient and wait to companies to come out with a LH model. It is irritating but I fish a different company's reels that seem to be offering more and more LH retrieves right off the bat.

Can't Win With Topwaters
I noticed in your post you didn't mention anything about spooks or "walk the dog" style baits. Have you tried these or even a pop-r? More times than not schooling fish love spooks walked in a fast manner. You could also try a fluke style soft jerkbait on the top of the water.

Pitching Setup Vs Flipping Setup
when jig and plastic fishing i probably pitch/pitch skip 90% of the time over casting and flipping. i'm much more comfortable and accurate in pitching and do so with a 7'4 rod and 15-17# fluoro. im also 6'3 so it feels very natural to me with a longer rod. something else that helped me with distance and accuracy (as well as wrist fatigue) was switch to 50 size shimano reels over the 200. i use left hand reels and dont switch hands and can dis engage the spool with my middle finger on the handle under the reel seat. neat little trick i picked up takes practice but becomes second nature after a while. on the off chance i am flipping i usually use my champion frog rod /w 65# braid as i'm doing it in close quarters thick cover. you can really pitch with any rod and as long as you are getting to where you need then rod length becomes more of a personal preference than a standard. flipping is much easier with a longer rod though as you have more line out and can pin point your target easier with a longer rod. you can do both with the same rod though and probably not have many issues with lots of practice.

Strike King Red Eye Shad Lipless Crankbaits
don't just aimlessly cast the lipless bait out into the middle and reel back. find some sort of cover like tall grass or logs sticking up near shore or out in the pond. rip the bait through the grass, bump it, cause some sort of commotion that gets some sort of a reaction strike. you can by all means just toss the bait and reel it in and you will catch the occasional fish or two but you will have better luck pinpointing specific pieces of cover, throwing past it and bringing the bait through it/over it/into it.

Wacky Rig Hooks?
i use the gama weedless 1 hooks. no issues. great hook ups

10+ Days Of Rain
putting the bait in the right spot is more important than anything. the fish will be very tight to cover if your water is chocolate milk. black/big/loud baits close to shore and in cover. if you can't see down 3 inches there can probably be fish sitting right on shore.

Braid V.s. Fluoro
fluorocarbon's slack line sensitivity is unmatched. it is my lline of choice for the majority of applications. there is nothing more sensitive than braid on a TIGHT line. any slack, the feel is void.

Fluoro Users: What Lb Test Do You Prefer For Jigs?
15 or 17# are the only two line sizes i use. abraxz is a good line. i like it in 17# due to the cover i fish.

Shakey Head Craws
i much prefer the baby rage craw on a shakey head for small mouth fishing. i have used the chigger craw and did not like it.

Core 50 Mg7 Question
ive used 15 # fluoro on mine for pitching. no issues at all. i just prefer the 50 size reels.

Rage Craw "bama Bug"
i'm assuming it is the discontinued color. i e-mailed them today and the guy that got back to me said he went and checked the warehouse and they were indeed bama bug. if anybody has a picture of the rage craw in bama bug i'd appreciate it. i can't find it on the net.

Shakey Head Weight
i use 1/8 and 3/16 the majority of the time. 1/4 if the wind is bad but i don't ever throw over 1/4oz. 3/16 would be the most versatile of the weights.

Rage Craw "bama Bug"
I can't find any info on this color. On overstockbait these are listed as the color but the picture shows i think bama craw when you click on it but shows the default picture as the amber green flake. does anybody know which color this actually is? I don't think (i could be wrong) the rage craw came in bama bug.

Soft Plastic Making
youtube a video about a guying pouring his own senkos. he used fiberglass resin for his mold and it's 2 sided. i use the same set up for pouring craws and worms on occasion. all together cost me less than 30$. i just melt down lots of my old plastics and pour them as a mold i made.

Have Old Powerpro On Reel, Does Line Go Bad?
you won't have any issues. many people keep braid on their reels for a few years at a time while continuing to use it throughout the season. you will be fine.

Carolina Rig Rod...
if you are not going under 1/2oz, then stay with the 4 power dobyns. 764 would be ideal in the champion line.

Your Opinion...when Are The Worst Times To Use Braid?

Sorry i should have been more clear on the limit statement. As you probably know you arent allowed to cull when you posess a limit. Im sure the dnr cares but writing him a ticket would most likely have a negative affect on the view BASS members has on the venue as of late which would probably all but guarantee no return for the tournament. It sounded like there were more than a fair share of anglers ipset fishing a place with these rules. Who knows if they will be back or not.
