  1. It's a mod fast so hopefully it works well.
  2. I can't either. Should be here tomorrow, got a lews bb1 to pair with it. Gonna take it out this weekend and see how i like it. I'll post up my thoughts after I try it out
  3. I went ahead and ordered one, if I don't like it for square bills I'm sure I will be able to find another use for it. I don't have mid depth cranking rod so either way it will work out. Thanks for the replies guys.
  4. Would this be a good rod for throwing square bills? I'm looking for a decent priced rod to throw these and for 50 dollars doesn't seem like I could find a better value
  5. great choice my man
  6. KVD L&L>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
  7. I have 2 symetres and I love them. There a great reel for the price IMO
  8. 7' casting 6'10'' spinning IMO its all about preference
  9. IMO you can't go wrong with Lews. But beware. You will just want more when you buy the first one
  10. Berkley vanish and bps carbonlite reel(the newer one) drag gave out on the first hook set with it.
  11. I would go with the 723
  12. I use the 723 for jigs and I love it
  13. I had an energy pt for 5 years. Never cleaned it once and it worked just fine up until I tried to take it apart and couldn't put it back together lol. It was my favorite reel until I bought a Lews tp. I also own shimano and Abu reels in the $200 price range. IMO the stereotype is from the lower end reels sold pretty much everywhere that sells tackle.
  14. I use spinning outfits for drop shotting and shakey heads. It's more of a casting distance thing for me, with light weight and line on a baitcaster I can't cast worth a crap
  15. What gear ratio on the reels?
  16. Fishing isn't a need lol Everyone here does it for fun and because they enjoy it. I guess you only need one. As long as your not putting the mortgage payment on the back burner to buy new combos buy as many as you want. For me getting new gear is one of the joys of fishing. Nothing like that feeling when you get a new combo.
  17. Is there anywhere to buy these in bulk? Wanting to get one for each of my combos. My bps ones are a few years old and the tops are starting to unravel.
  18. I did it a while back and my tackle bag weighed 47lbs I think
  19. Yeah. You got a good deal. I have two tourney mgs and I love them. Can't beat them for the price
  20. Yep. Either way he got ripped off. You ended up buying the mg right?
