  2. console ff is turned off............and he still has trouble.........
  3. I thought maybe I should elaborate. He has been having trouble with interference. He thinks maybe he has the transducer in the wrong place. Its @ the very bottom of motor, directly under the shaft. Should it be as close to the front as possible? I cant imagine it should go close to the prop as this would probably make things worse. Any other feedback as to why he doesnt get a clear reading would help. Cart, thanks for the response. Dont mean to sound stupid but what is a tm mount style transducer??
  4. My buddy has a 1991 Champion with a 150 Mercury Mariner.(dont know if thats relevent but thought I'd put it in there) He has a 82 lb thrust Motor Guide trolling motor. He would like to know where is the best place to mount the transducer on his trolling motor? Directly under shaft?

  16. A good topo map is a good place to start. Look for the main lake points, channels, etc....fish the same cover/structure as you would from shore.
  17. Pueblo reservoir here in Colorado has MANY of the ledges you describe. We have caught a ton of Smallies off the ledges on a 3in tube. Drag the tube slowly...........I would also hop on the jerkbait bite as well..........
  18. Had a tip from a guy about fishing out of the back of a boat in a tournament........ "Downsize and slow down" That has worked wonders for my fishing!
  19. I will fish a brush hog on a texas rig with a fairly light bullet weight(1/8-1/4) and a 4/0 wide gap hook. I will also dip the tails in garlic dip-n-glo..............
  20. 1/8 oz speedloader jig with a green pumpkin crooked creek tube................
