Bass Boat In The 10-15K Range?
Fiberglass vs aluminum........that will be decision that you have to make. I went with fiberglass because back in the mid 80's when I wanted a boat......I read and heard that fiberglass was better than aluminum because the wind has less effect on fiberglass (did not get blown around as much). I didn't get my first boat until 3 years ago. But that little seed took a strong hold in my ol noggin. And shop.....I just bought my 2nd boat for 18k and it books for 35k.......there are deals to be had. I don't know how true that actually is.......but for me in my head I wanted to go glass. My point is.......that you have to be happy. It's your money and you will be the one fishes hint out of it. So in the end......it's all up to you. Sorry not much help I know. Fish with people you know that have either kind and read posts and draw your conclusions. Good luck.

Best Way To Sell Bass Boat Online
I bought my first boat from Craigslist and that is where I to for my 2nd boat. But also looked at boat trader. I ended up buying from a dealer I found on boat trader.com.........he bought my used boat so I didn't have to go through the hassle of selling my boat. BTW there are a few places, with one local to me that buy used boats for their used inventory. The downside is he has to make money when he sells my old boat......I understood that and felt I was given a very fair price for my old boat. And considering I don't have to run to the lake to show it to anyone.....or risk them damaging/breaking anything........I was extremely happy to be able to just walk away with an extremely fair price.

Mercury Guys, Need Your Thoughts
I understand from my credit union that this is very common.......at least from the boat business they are involved in. It does not seem too far out the expected to me...................like stated earlier........just using up the stock of motors they have. BTW very nice looking boat. My last boat was 18'-6" 2001 procraft 185 pro ............performed very nicely on the water. The only reason I moved to another boat (2009 Procraft 210 Super Pro) was a little more room for 3 of us fishing out my boat and to get a Single console. Both of my boats are sister boats to the Nitro since Tracker purchased Procraft in 1999 ( I think) and continued the line until 2009.

Gopro
Some of them......I know my 3+ black......can be set to loop......so I only keep what I want. Example: I record in 5 minute loop......it records continuously.....when I stop the recording it keeps that moment back five minutes. Then I press the button again and it starts all over again. Pretty cool device.

Thoughts On 16' Fiberglass Ranger?
I'm sure someone with some answers will chime in shortly for you. I wanted to address: " I know everyone says buy the biggest that you can afford. I can afford a bigger boat, but I can also pick this up for about $5k which seems like a good deal to me." Whatever you do....do not 'settle'. I know how hard it can be but if you have to wait for the boat you want then wait. My first boat I bought 3 years ago.....It was a used boat. My first feelings was that I didn't want that particular boat. But after a deal on a boat I did want fell through............and there 'seemed' to not be many other boats available............so I went back and bought that boat that I did not originally want. Mistake. It was a good boat...had some cosmetic issues, not the color I wanted...........but it was priced right. Everyday in the back of my mind since buying that boat I thought I want another boat. Right up to this week when I finally bought a boat that I wanted. Don't settle on anything if you can help it.....it is a breeding ground for disappointment or discontent! Good luck. Chris

Help With Pics Of Your Electric Steer Trolling Motor Install
If motor guide would have designed it without that big curved beck..........it would have been flat/straight bottom and a sliding bracket and there would be no issues with it. And if Minn Kota would have arranged for lowrance to work with their unit there would be Jo issue. I'm just at a loss as to why Motorguide and Minn Kota joined forces to thwart me? I don't like being thwarted!
