North Star Hair Jigs
If you were asking me, I only run 1/2 oz jigs and my line was Suffix #50 pound 832 with a 20# fluoro leader.

Joe Flaccos Getting Paid
They had extra cap with Lewis and the other guy (can't think of his name off hand) retiring this season to pay him. Keep in mind, Brady took a pay cut to stay with New England. Also so they could keep Gron and Welker with the possibility of future guys. Keeping their cap low. As much as I hate anything Brady, Flacco is not worth 120 million, and a much better QB than Flacco too.

Nanofill Line
It may have just been my knot or me or something crazy, but I had 3 modified Albright knots fail me this week using line that was slick like the nano fill. I would leave 1/4" tags and pull them down really hard after my final tug. The tags would slide all the way into the knot and disappear. One break off came as the result of a backlash and lost the jig. The others were after setting the hook and getting snagged. Crazy thing was my set ups using 832 to fluoro, I had no issues. I've been hearing of this problem with slick braids and nano fill lately. Anyone else having this issue?

Zona's Awesome Fishing Show
The Moss moment or when Zona and Mercer were making Yette mailing calls to the camera man. Those two are like the Beavis and Butthead of bass fishing. It's on my bucket list!

Best Fluoro (For Braid Guy)
I've gone with using BP's fluorocarbon. Is strong and so far seems to have less memory than I've had with others. I know I'm going to take flak for this, but I bought a spool of 20# Berkely Vanish on sale the other day. So far I've just been using it for a leader and time will tell. If I don't have any issues, at 10 bucks it could be a good deal

Luck With Scents/ Best Scents.
JJ's has been proven on this board and I have proven it to myself so I can honestly say it does work. I won't say that it will attract fish as I can't say that for sure, but I can say that the bass will hold my jig, tube etc much longer with harder bites. I don't get that bump bump bump, I get that bam! and they hold. I am slowly proving myself to mega strike. The videos are hard to pick apart and have got me excited. I've only used it twice, so I can't say it's the end all attractants, but I am impressed so far.

What Did You Ingest That Wasn't What You Thought It Was?
Everclear at 15. No more must be said of that

Leader # For Braid
I actually was going to type this exact formula except I don't use anything lighter than 15 pound braid. Lol

1/4 Oz And Smaller Jigs. When Where And How
Cool. Thanks for the help guys. I will hang onto these then. Most have the rubber band collar, which I hate, but I got them so cheap that I can afford to loose a few skirts.

North Star Hair Jigs
I've got a few Alimony blacks and knock outs. I have yet to try them. I kinda went hog wild buying jigs and only ended up using only my black series Insanities, KO froggers and salsa & mistake flip n swims lol

North Star Hair Jigs
This was my first time to use a hair jig. I was pretty impressed.

North Star Hair Jigs
The copper craw worked really well for me. I decided to buy 5 more and just use them.

North Star Hair Jigs
All I can really say is wow! I finally got the chance to try these out today. 3rd cast and I had a little dink smash it hard. I ended up catching a tree, followed up by 20 minutes of dangling and retrieved the jig, only to have a break off next cast and watch it sail off into the middle of the pond. I used a Strike King river bug in green pumpkin and the jig was the copper craw. They matched up perfectly! The bottom of the river was very grassy so I swam the jig like a swim jig and did well. The action of the hair was amazing. Typical great North Star quality. Thanks Chris. I just placed an order for more a few minutes ago.

Revo Stx Help
Have you lubed it or taken it down to see if there is too much lube? How dirty is the reel? Was it dropped in the water or rained on hard? I know after using mine in the rain, it felt that way. Took it down, blew it out, cleaned lubed and it was like new.

Pinnacle Optimus Xi
Pond boss is right on the light weight and good feeling of this reel. Indidnt get to use it today, as he wouldn't let it go, but did mess with it enough that I liked it. The knobs felt good too. I've got no plans to run out and buy one tomorrow, but so far from the little I played with it, I was impressed. Hopefully next week I will get to use it myself. I'd like to tie on a 1/2oz flip n swim and burn it back and see how it handles. I believe he was running braid on it too. The distance with the small square bill he was using was very impressive.

1/4 Oz And Smaller Jigs. When Where And How
I've been fishing jigs for years and they are my #1 confidence bait. I have never used anything smaller than a 1/2 oz. Not to long ago, I got a deal here on the forum flea market for some bitsy bugs and other misc jigs. Most greens, browns and some black n blues. Is there a time of year where smaller jigs are better, different types of water or structure cover etc. Lately I've been tieing them on my sons rod and letting him use em. Thanks in advance

Lews Tp Or The Shimano Chronach
I have only used 1 Lews reel. And while it was nice, I wasn't all giddy about it. I bought a Chronarch 200E7 these days off and fished it hard today. I have never in my life been as impressed with a piece of equipment as I am with it. I was going to buy a Core or MGX this summer for finesse. I am 2nd guessing myself now and going to think about a Chronarch 50. I'm that impressed.

Just Picked Up 2 Veritas Rods
I can never for the life of me explain why people drop comments like this on a guys thread. To the OP, you will love them. I have 4 and use them daily.

Compre Or Crucial
my mistake. Thanks for clearing that up.

Compre Or Crucial
Crucial. Its a whole different monster of a rod. I love mine. Plus to get the lifetime replacement warranty, you have to get the Crucial or the Cumara.

Is This Jerk Bait Too Big To Be Effective?
Agreed. Im still trying to track down all of dads fishing stuff. My uncles picked his house clean after he died.
