  1. I use the Gammie 3/0 but you can use the 4/0 too.
  2. I got to work on his truck this past summer,my jaw dropped when I showed up for work and hisTundra was parked out front. He took a few minutes and talked about his upcoming bait line and I could tell he was excited. D Bomb as well as all the Missle line of lures are top notch quality.
  3. Very nice.
  4. Hank Parker,a friend of mine was on his show in the late 80's and said he was a super guy on and off the air. Jerry Mckinnis, used to get up early when I was a kid to catch "The Fishin Hole". Mike D from Lunkerville,he doesn't take himself so seriously.
  5. Sorry about your father,he raised a good man.I will be tuned in for the season Mike, keep up the good work.
  6. The brownish color jig is brown with purple flake and a color called Cow Tongue.Together for me it looks alot like Oxblood.
  7. Thanks everyone,Im happy with them too. Cant wait to swim that jig when there on the Gills.
  8. Santa brought me a few molds and got a chance to play today.
  9. Biffle just been in the game so long that he used to wear those short-shorts from the 80's. He's an intense guy that brought alot to the game.He and Denny really put flipping out in the forefront of Pro bassing.I can remember when a Tripple Rattle Back jig was the only jig to own.
  10. Mike Iaconelli is no dummy, were all on the board talking about him. In a sport without alot of colorful personalitys he stands out as do all the logos enblazoned on his jersey.Smart fella

For natural colors I like 520 Money Maker Watermelon,387b Army Green Pumpkin,072 is Rust a good accent to 018 Brown.
  13. Lets everyone remember that this kid is only 15 so ten or twenty bucks might be hard to come bye. Basslover I was in the same boat as you 25 years ago and can remember how hard it was to acuire decent tackle. I would get mine from working odd jobs, birthday's, holidays you name it. You'll be surprised how much you can get from a yard sale from time to time.Ive bought tackleboxes filled to the brim for 10 bucks or so. Good luck and im sure in a year or two you'll be wondering what to do with all this tackle you have acuired.
  14. Biffles coach shorts are classic! lol The ole man can still fish his butt off.
  15. Think small, either a shakey head or a wacky style worm.Light line either 6-8lb test.A head weighted worm with a small finishing nail rigged wacky style is a good go to bait when the bite is '' pressured" .
  16. If your confident in your worming skills it shouldnt be too hard get it. Its all about keeping contact with your bait rather on the fall or once its settled on the bottom.Anticipate the strike, usually just a tick on the end of your line. When in doubt, set the hook.I think it was Bill Dance that said hooksets dont cost a thing. It is my number one confidence bait and has accounted for my top five personal best.Fairly stout rod, strong line some type of attractant(I love BANG) and you'll be good to go.Hope this helps a little.
  17. Would be the fish of a lifetime for alot of us,awesome .8-9 lbs would be my guess too.It would be 9 if it was mine lol.
  18. Back in the day it was "The Fishing Hole" with Jerry Mckinnis, learned a ton as a kid and adult.Today its any tournament style show and "Lunkerville".I like the approach of Mike D coming from the angle as the student and his guest the teachers.
  19. Hi Blaine, welcome. I fish SML too.Glad to see you here.
  20. Looks great, love the smoke blue and orange.
  21. Very nice.
  22. Thanks again Rodney,I will give it a shot next summer maybe at night.
  23. Thanks Rodney, sorry about the Powerball,I struck out too.Ive got a few molds but this one I have owned for about a year just didnt like the profile until I tried the Owner 5304. Cadman says its one he likes too but like everything else its just a preference. Its an addicting hobby, that musheroom jig sounds pretty good for those natural rocky lakes.Best of luck.
  24. Will do OE,thanks for the tip. I didnt think of a wire guard but that sounds right, something else to tinker with.
