  1. I glad you're feeling better and nice fish!
  2. Great thinking. I had been using 3/8 mostly, so going lighter could really help. Sorry for the threadjack
  3. Yeah it is a pain. I caught a 4 lber today and it said 1.75 or something. I was thinking no way until I saw the kilos.
  4. Hey goose, I just got one of these and figured out how to change from kilos to lbs. as you turn it on and it starts blinking repeatedly, hit the power button quickly, two times and it will change units
  5. Exactly what I needed to know. Thanks rockchalk
  6. For me, since I fish from shore, it depends on the time of year. For instance, I caught literally no bass all winter long for the few times I went fishing. So when the weather warmed up, I didn't care how small the bass I caught (I needed to catch a bass more than a junky needs his next high lol). I'm over that now that I've caught several. I have my eyes on the big girls from here on out.
  7. Thanks for the insight fellas. How would these jigs perform in mod/heavy weeds and grass? Haven't found one yet that doesn't get fouled up nearly every cast when fishing from shore at my local lakes/ponds.
  8. Cool video! Those are rage craws I assume? Great action on those claws. Is it the jig itself that makes them stand up like that or is it a bouyant soft plastic?
  9. If you wacky rig using 2 O rings so that the hook is perpendicular to the senko, you can use the same senko for many fish at times. My GY senko I have on now has brought in close to twenty and is still kicking!
  10. Same here or an 1/8 if it's above a 10 mph wind. I will also throw many of my finesse worms such as zoom trick or finesse worms, havoc bottom hoppers and senkos weightless in the dead heat of summer down here with good results.
  11. Carp do this all the time during spawn at one of my local lakes. They will cause quite the commotion in very shallow water.
  12. Thanks guys
  13. Are y'all referring to the 3.5 in or the 5 in? What size hook do you use for each?
  14. Prayers sent bud.
  15. Haha I wish one of them had been 5 lbs Dwight!
  16. Well, now that I feel like my manhood has been stripped, 10-15 bass.
  17. Well, now that I feel like my manhood has been stripped, 10-15 bass.
  18. Wow Tom! Is that 19.3 a replica?
  19. I usually fish motor oil chartreuse tip, green pumpkin and junebug with various flake colors. Weightless usually works best. It has an irresistible wiggle on the fall when weightless, much like a senko.
  20. Don't forget the bottom hoppers. I caught 10 on them at the community pond this evening.
  21. I learned a lot from this post. Thanks, Paul.
  22. Awesome write up and catches. Just curious, did the hybrids fight harder than the stripers? Assuming that you caught a couple of each around the same size.
  23. I just started using these myself, albeit for striper/hybrid not bass. I had the most success when trolling the rig through big bait clouds. No bait clouds usually = no bites for me.
