  1. Well guys I haven’t posted in a while, but 2 kids younger than 2 keep me running around and not fishing. I’ve spent the last few days up here playing with my new solix and looking for fish. So, let me tell you where they ARE NOT LOCATED...... LOL I have more pictures, but they are bigger than 1.46 mb So anyone where are all of the fish?!
  2. Today was brutal. Me and dad went out and fished six mile and housen. Dad caught 1 fish in sandy creek..... ONE BITE ALL DAY. Saw a bunch on the graph deep but they would not bite..... we fished shallow deep and everything in between
  3. fished the last bfl today, fishing has been tough! had 3 bites and lost them all. best bite i think i had was on a carolina rig in 28 fow. had a bite on a whopper plopper and that was it! fished shallow deep and in between.... 1 20# sack was brought in...... good thing hunting season is upon us lol
  4. went out a few days and blanked. graphed a bunch of fish. got right on top of them tried a spoon, dropshot, crig, jig...... going back to crappie next time out ready for the curse of #1 to be over! and for some more grass!
  5. i would be happy catching dinks! its better than nothing!
  6. i would out in at jackson hill or cassells boykin lots of good areas to fish around there
  7. only bass i been catching lately have been off crappie piles, i have not found them stacked up anywhere....anyone been catching crappies?
  8. Got to go out on Sam rayburn Monday to try a few new areas. Caught a few fish from 6 ft to 20 feet with no real pattern. Blue bird day with lows @35 and highs @75 caught them on Carolina rigs and crankbaits..... beats working though, water temps were around 56
  9. what size boat are youin acefishing? there are 4 good areas close to the boat ramp..... julie creek, bird islands, canyons and deerstand
  10. Ronnie were you fishing main lake points or secondary points? im going to go try housen and the louisiana side some tomorrow.....slim pickens in six mile/sandy

Well i went out for 4 hours in sandy creek only caught 2 fish on a Texas rig. graphed and fished creek bends only since i am trying to learn this technique. tried a crankbait and dropshot also. found 2 bends with bait and fish but couldnt get them to bite. going to try main lake points tomorrow with a crig.
  12. It's been a while since I got to go fishing. Glad some of y'all are catching them, I am jealous. If you havent already add my facebook page toledo bend / sam rayburn fishing reports. I am going to be fishing the bfl's next year and look forward to having lots of good reports for y'all. In the mean time I have been trying to get sponsors, I am now a member of the KISTLER team. I will be selling all of my current rods and will offer them to the forum members here first at a good price. Will take pictures of each the next time i go to the lake. i have mostly phenix recon 2 rods and a few shimano cumara's & crucials..... I am going to try to sell them all, the recons are 1 season old and the cumara and crucials are 2-3 years old but everything I have is in mint condition.....keep an eye out for the next post the rods will be first come first serve......tight lines god bless if you want me to add you to the facebook page message me your names and i will add you guys to the page on facebook.....

Hey is anybody up there or going up there this weekend I lost a tree at my house and if somebody is driving by 6mile I would appreciate somebody sending me a picture message to see how bad the damage is..... my neighbor called us and told us we had a downed tree but she is elderly and does not do pictures and messages on the phone
  18. the place is completely finished including the new septic! no more work for years hopefully!!!!!!

  20. well guys ill be at the bend, july1-8, for the first time in almost 2 months. i will report back what i find! mainly a get away for me and the wife since i been working so much, but i will fish a little bit.....may try minnows at the bridge again, momma likes that lol
  21. hey yall im here! been working a bunch of shutdowns here lately and about to start building our new house....... i will be up at toledo for my long break for the 4th of july! yall come say hi......no fishing reports lately, took my cousins family crappie fishing at the six mile bridge during the elite event, caught a few it was fun on minnows
  22. hey guys keep me in mind for the sac a lait, i am bringing some family may 13 14 15 to go crappie fishing i would like the 2 small boys to catch some on minnows. if anyone has any pointers for me i would greatly appreciate it, i would like to stay in six mile..... do i just look for them in the trees going down six mile?
  23. of all times and places i got to meet another forum member today at work at 630 this morning..... mguidroz of course we spent at least 5 minutes fishing in the cafe lol..... super nice guy and now i can put a name with a face, he also happens to be my neighboor in holiday circle..... what a small world.....
  24. youll be good by then.......but it may not clear up as quick with the lack of grass
