Just a update, no fishing, I shot my first wood duck today! It's getting mounted!

Not yesterday, I'm up here till Wednesday, graphed lots of fish deeper, only small ones on the drop shot. A guy at the ramp said they caught 20 keepers shallow on flukes and senkos, maybe they moved up with the cold front, no punching fish, no top water fish, trigs and drop shot, no Crankin fish either.....fished housen and six mile

look at fanatics previous post for depth from him......im fishing a different area and different depth. im fishing right in the middle of a creek that is 31-33 ft deep. i tied off to a tree and fished all day with my dad throwing that drop shot. theres alot of ledges and grass and brushpiles around, just fan casting.............look for schooling fish and they will bite lakayakbass!!!

i always see people fishing at the six mile boat ramp, i know you can catch fish walking down the bridge fishing either side but thats about it, if it is legal.....fanatic, ive been fishing one hump as well in six mile, went thursday with my dad and tied up to a tree caught a bunch on drop shop zoom worms, it was pretty windy.......on our way out i saw some big fish i think were bass on the graph, gunna start there next time....

Anyone know what the crappie are doing in six mile?

I have been trying to deep ledge fish here lately. Biggest one last weekend was 4.5 caught 40 fish between me and dad. Drop shotting roboworms.fishing ledges in six mile and finding fish on the hummingbird. Fishing 14-35 ft. I've been mainly trying to find fish on my depth finder and trying to eliminate unproductive water.....I'm trying to get prepared best I can for fishing flw next year. Heading to the lake tonight to see if I can get my wife on some crappie........have yet to catch a Toledo crappie........

Got to go do some fishing this weekend with Skeeter Don, graphed lots of fish on main lake stuff just couldn't get them to bite. Sunday was spent fishing the attoyac branch of Sam rayburn, I had a little more luck of moving shallower and flipping vegetation

We did the math the last time we sat there at the sportsman, it would take 16 glasses of tea per person before it would cost them money on it. That was using bottled water..........We don't support the insanity.....because the excuse they gave me was it costed to much money. Rant over sorry

We boycott sportsman since they don't give free refills, and everyone that works there is old and grumpy....We always hit fin and feather

I went fishing yesterday, caught three little ones, throwing a watermelon red cutter worm with a dipped tail in housen grass flats. Going to try with the wife today a little farther north.....

since ive been working straight nights on this turnaround, i havent done much fishing. i ran to all my waypoints that were grasslines from last year and there was no grass! or it was only 2-5 feet deep on the humminbird......... last year this time it was like 10-12 feet deep by now i fished all over the place catt....

well guys i fished my club night time tournament last night. 3 fish for like 6-7 pounds. went flipping during the day and caught 18 pounds, im not very good at night...... o well one more wek of the tournament then im getting married. guy caught 20.5 pounds today and had a 8# kicker so someone is always catching them and others are always struggling.....i fished from lowes creek to mill creek offshore main points and secondary points and flats, also fished around texas island. threw a chatterbait, mag worm, spinnerbat, buzzbait.

time for an update! its been almost 2 months since ive been able to go fishing, turnaround is almost over! lake house is finished except texturing the sheetrock (i know cart before the horse) and a couple walls i need to finish the cedar. but were in it and staying when we are up there. the bunkhouse is cleaned out and i took pictures of it so i can start renting it out and kind of advertising. right now its empty with just a microwave and a mini fridge. im building a set of bunk beds in twin/twin and a queen/twin to go in there. then i gotta mount the tv and dvd player on the wall and it'll be ready to rent, price is going to be 50$ ($100 deposit) a night once its all set up, im glad im 1 minute from the six mile public boat ramp, i think i have a good location to rent........pm me for more details. im only renting it out to people on the forums and friends of friends, i will accept paypal so i can take credit cards, or cash is preferred but for those people like me that never carry cash paypal will be an option.....

We talked all day, he even got down to his under wear to fix his power pole lol! He is established, he has lots of other business ventures, he is fishing kind of for the advertisement, and still doing awesome.....he has invested his winnings well, and doesn't stress about fishing....he told me he ran out of fish for Sunday since he was sight fishing mostly, and we were just going pre fishing Sunday. He still managed to catch 16# just putting his trolling motor down and fishing, he's a cool guy....

Just got home, I rode with fred roumbanis, kevin hawk, mike mcclelland, and skeet reese......I had a blast, learned so much about sight fishing, skeet is crazy good at sight fishing

My dad just left for work this morning so I will have an open seat if some one wants to go watch Sunday

We're staying in it now, I need to get the bunk beds made, and the queen bed put in there so people can start staying in the bunk house. Ordered all the appliances from Lowe's last week being delivered tomorrow!

The cabinet guy has to finish, I need to put rough cut cedar in the living room, and the sheet rock needs to be tapped and floated. And we'll be done

we are prepping for a turnaround at work, and me and my fiancee are prepping for a wedding, its hard to find time to get it finished, looks like it wont be finished till after i get married june 21st and things slow down.....so many things to do, so little time.........
