  1. Nope completely different! I caught all my fish on a 2.5 SK crank the last time I went, grass was around, they were more on bare points chasing shad
  2. One foot holy cow! Stumps should be under now, not by a lot though
  3. When I get the lake house finished I will take y'all out and show y'all the grass line and what catt is talking about if y'all want to go, as far as fishing deep on the main lake your on your own....I'm lost in the 25+ fow I've caught fish this deep, nothing like shallow, finding the ditches and productive points are harder to find and to me it's harder fishing since you have to fish so slow
  4. My dad is up there right now he said you can fish the current with all the run off from the rain at the six mile bridge.......lol
  5. Fished the bend Thursday, caught fish in Indian mounds Lowe's creek and housen, all fish were around grass of some sort, swimming a jig and throwing a Texas rig 1/2 oz it sure was windy
  6. fish my club tournament Wednesday, only a couple of us weighed in fish, I had four fish for 7.5 pounds, the rest of the field fish Saturday and I will report back with what I hear. Fished Harvey and the dam with a SK 2.5 caught adj my fish on it, sexy shad color

  10. Stroking is kind of like a mild hookset, getting the jig 4-5 feet off the bottom and letting it fall......Was on the lake today man was it rough but the new BassCat is awesome! Didn't catch any, but I went out mostly playing with the boat.........everyone I talked to at the ramp had a hard time today.....anyone have better luck? I did get a few bites on a red bug trick worm fishing it real slow
  11. I sold my boat new one comes thursday, I would throw a frog somewhere, don't know where yet lol

  16. as soon as I get home I will look on my map and I will give you some guesses...but until then I will fish around the house....caught a couple over 7 and a 5 and a three, and some little schoolies, not bad for 2 hours on the water

  20. Hey guys I'm selling my 2012 triton explorer 18 $21000 ready to get into a bigger one before I get married
  21. Veach and five fingers is good for some tight lines, but the big girls are out deeper!
  22. I have heard good things about the mercury place on six mile
  23. Where are you putting in?
  24. Okay I'm back to civilization, let's take the Harvey creek area and look at it a little more...while we are in this area we will look at the northeast side off the bridge, (bird island area) as well.....I'll start with the summer seasonal pattern....I would start off by following the Indian Creek bed all the way out to the main lake and fishing the west ridge that comes out the farthest that has a hump on the end 31.13.481....94.17.418 on navionics app for android....... I have caught fish here using recon worms and zoom mag II and a football jig, for some reason I feel that the fish on rayburn don't bite worms over 10.5 inches as well as the 10.5 size does, toledo fish like the BIG worms...I don't go back into the creeks until the schools of shad have moved in
  25. I was at the bend all last week, fishing was tough, Wednesday had our club tournament, 6# is in the lead, caught fish Tuesday before the rain, and not a single thing keeper size Wednesday! Went from winning to dead last lol. Not to mention lost a 100$ net and broke a rod, fished 6-mile housen and julie creek......all in all a great week @the lake, for the house all wired up......
