  1. My favorite flipping hook I've triad so far is the denny brauer girp pin hook from mustad. The bait keeper tears the bait less then all the others I've tried and the keepers dont move. I havn't tried the VMC's yet but have tried the gamblers, cobras from halo, strike king hack attacks, gamakatsus and the trokars.
  2. Fish it pretty much like you would a fluke.
  3. The male makes a bed for the female to deposit eggs on then the male will fertilize the eggs and guard them until they are fry. Females will go from bed to bed leaving eggs at each one. This is natures way of making sure the genetics are mixed.
  4. Falcon cara amistad 7-3 heavy fast.

  6. I have the simms sun armor buff and it has extended flaps front/rear that you can tuck into your shirt that help protect the neck. It also has a vented mouth area that helps but it still fogs up when you wear it over your nose. I dont wear it over my nose I just put sunblock on my nose and wear a full brim columbia hat.

I dont change much but I do go to a bass imititaion color during the post spawn.
  8. Another option is to put a ring/carbine or a loop of strap on you existing eye and then attach your strap to it. I've seen alot of boats tie down to the jackplate gamblers are that way.

  16. They make them in various lenghts and mounting options. I've proabably installed about 15 of them over the past 10 yrs on several boats.
  17. You stick your line through the little wire loop then slide the rubber bobber stop on to your line then continue to slide the bobber stop onto your line till the tag end comes out. There is a hole in the center of the bobber stop and without the wire loop you would never be able to get the bobber stop onto the line. Here is a video the good stuff starts a 1:25
  18. I found a bunch when I looked they might not be fishing line specific but a spool is a spool. http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_trksid=p2050601.m570.l1313&_nkw=empty+spools&_sacat=0&_from=R40

I added a couple of these http://www.basspro.com/Bass-Pro-Shops-8-Hatch-Support-Spring/product/83196/?hvarAID=shopping_googleproductextensions&om_mmc=shopping_googleproductextensions&kpid=83196 and just mounted them at 45 degrees when the rod locker or hatch is open. There cheap and never go bad like gas shocks.
  21. Getting different powerpole brackets might be one option see if you can exchange for a pair with more set back. Option two would be drill a hole in the power pole bracket to hook your transom strap.
