Which Rod Should I Buy?
Falcons are usually a little softer then their rating. Walmart carries bucoos if you want to check one out. I wouldnt buy on from walmart though their rods take a beating from everyone looking at them and the way they store the rods.

Is It Possible To Take A Fresh Water Bait Caster And Turn It Into A Salt Water Bait Caster?????
Saltwater baitcasters usually have a higher line capacity. There may be more differences but thats the one difference that stands out to me.

Which Rod Should I Buy?

Sealing Up Hollow Body Frogs
Im not sure what frogs your using I have spros with only one hole thats where the hooks come out. I also find frogs work better for me with a little water in them. They sit lower in the water creating a larger profile and move more water when worked. What frogs are you talking about that have 4 holes in them. I would try something like silicone before epoxy I would be afraid the epoxy would be to stiff and just peel off the rubber when the rubber flexed.

Sealing Up Hollow Body Frogs
The are suppose to have some holes in them to allow the air to escape when the are collapsed on the strike.

What Wood For Seats?

Costa Glasses - So Many Options!
The color of the mirror doesnt matter but the base color that come with each does. With the blue mirror you can only get grey lenses and there is a huge difference between a gray base and a amber/copper base. You really notice the difference when looking for beds.

Which Rod Should I Buy?
Another problem you will find trying to stick with one type of rod is they might not make a the action you need in that rod. My dad started off trying to make all his rods match he got three rods into it and gave up when the rods he was using didnt make a decent crankbait rod. I think you limit yourself trying to make your rods match.

New Polarized Glasses
Some people value their eyes more then $25. I'm kind of a sunglass junky I probably have 10 pairs my favorites are my costa's followed closely by the old pair of maui jims I have. I use wiley x glasses for work and bike riding or any time I have a chance of breaking a pair with glass lenses. I used to wear a pair of oakleys but the polarization started to delaminate on the lense.

Which Rod Should I Buy?
I have both a veritas and a falcon and I prefer the falcon rod. Cant comment on the others as I have never used either one. Falcons are made in the USA.

Powell's *new* Line Of Rods... (Icast)
+1 that was my thoughts also its suppose to bridge the gap between the diesel and endurance rods.

Costa Glasses - So Many Options!
Your really need to go to a store and try on what frames fit your face. The best lenses they make are the 580g. If you search around the website they have a section that breaks down which lense is for what.

Walking The Dog... Better With Baitcaster Or Spinning Reel?
A good tip I was told when learning to walk the dog is after you twitch/jerk the rod immediatly point the rod tip back at the bait to give it slack.

Lew's Tourney Pro Problems Again... :(
If a reel backlashes its on the user not the reel its called using your thumb. You could give me a reel and turn every brake off and I could cast it without backlashing. If your not comfortable with then reel the sell it but I wouldnt blame the reel. Many of us have been using baitcasters for 20+years.

Best Rod Quality Vs. Customer Service/warranty
The one time I had to deal with falcon rods it was easy for me. I utilized the replacement plan.

Good Baitcaster For The Price
You do know the chronarch e is the same reel that the curado e was. All they really did was change the name of the reels. About half my reels are lews the other half is shimano. Then I have 3 abus 2 diawas and 1 quantum.

Powell's *new* Line Of Rods... (Icast)
Look at the endurance 764 fast,804 fast,725 fast then you have the crankbait rods that are graphite like the max704cb,705cb,endurance 804cb,752cb. Then there is a couple of other rods that are discontinued that are fast action. Not all fast rods are equal for example a extra fast dobyns is abou equal to a fast action falcon. Just like not all mh are true mh rods.

Powell's *new* Line Of Rods... (Icast)

Revo Stx Or Lews Tourn Pro
+1 I have both the lews is smoother and feels more refined but the stx will cast a little further its also a little louder. Both are great reels but I would lean towards the lews.

In Search Of New Spinnerbait Rod
All my rods are over 7' except my spinner bait rod its 6'6". I prefer a little shorter spinnerbait rod because most of the time Im making short cast and need to be accurate. Spinnerbaits have really bad aerodynamics the blades catch alot of air so long overhand cast are tough. With a shorter rod side arm casting is easier and more effective with spinnerbaits.
