An artificial live bait that worked well would be awful good but I am always cheerfully pessimistic about them. I think it would turn out to be bitter sweet to use a genuine imitation or an original copy. In the peaceful conquest to catch fish in no random order I believe they are the same difference. ?

I caught a Commorant under water on a crankbait one time. My son caught a women's high heel shoe one time that looked fairly new. We thought there might be a body down there also so we called the cops and they took our statement but never did anything for some reason. I guess nobody was reported missing. We call that part of the lake dead ladies corner and don't fish it anymore. We are still a little freaked out by catching a high heel that didn't look like it was under water long.

So ran through it and unplugged the blue wire coming out of the oil tank and it stopped. New tank on order. Can I run it as long as I know there is oil in it? Just not sure if unplugging the sensor will allow this.

We were idling up the creek the other day and went to punch it and the alarm went off and stayed on constantly. I turned the engine off and checked the oil and it was fine. Water is coming out fine also. The alarm is on even when the engine is not started. Before I start taking things apart done anyone have any ideas of what this is? Ever happen to you? I'm thinking some sort of sensor is bad. Any info. is appreciated.

For plastic swimbaits do you like the belly weighted hooks or the regular head weighted swimbait jigs? Just want some opinions on what hook you think is better or have a better hookup ratio with.

Anyone ever use nail polish to paint jig heads? Just wanted to see if this is common or not. Don't really want to get into powder paint just looking for somthng quick and easy.

I like how my used baits mold to my boats cup holder until I take them out and recycle. I melt all my used plastics over the winter a pour stick baits out of a mold I made from plaster of Paris and senko said. I just mix dark with dark and light with light. I come up with some very interesting colors. Also grind salt and add. It gives me somthing to do over the winter and my kids love throwing stick baits. I do however sometime run with scissors, color outside the lines and pull all the girls hair that I like. (Don't tell my wife)

Can I store Z Man baits in a Plano box if I only store Z Man stuff in the same box? Started using these this year and they are working very well. I used the Hula Stix on a finess Mega strike shakey head and did very well. Wanted to see if there was a better way to store them instead of in the bags they came in.

I use a 4 inch senko with a 3/0 EGW gammy. I use this when there is a lot of milfoil growing. It comes through it pretty well and catches a lot of fish.

I would throw bubblegum but the bass around me are more fond of chocolate bars. I'm a fan of the mizmo pink tube though.

Look for baitfish and pan fish breaking the surface. Look for the rings. It's usually a good sign.

I sometimes go whole seasons without throwing some baits. Examples would be ribbon tail worms, grubs, tubes certain creature baits. Then the next season I pick up that bait and use it and catch a lot of fish. I used a tube last year with phenomenal success for both smallmouth and largemouth on lakes, rivers, creeks and ponds. I think I like the challenge catching bass diffrent ways that keeps me changing. I won't ever take the almighty fish catching proven over the decades tube for granted again.

Congratulations to Evers. KVD always does well in MLF. I love that show it seems and feels like I could compete Better in that then the Bass Masters. If my brother was in the MLF he would win he catches dinks by the 100's! He knows most of them by name also!

Do powerbait soft plastics go bad? I just found some I had for years and they smell really funky. Not sure if I should toss them or not. Was just wondering if they go bad.

Glad he is okay. PDF is a must on a kayak they are so comfortable now there is no excuse. I attach one of these to my kayaks also. I use an orange bike flag on a stick. What is you favorite zoom Fluke color to use for clear water and stained water? There is a lot to choose from.

I rub a small dab of megastrike on my fingers and rub it in. Even if I'm not putting it on my baits. That's more of an educated guess then a superstition.

Wow! That is really cool. I would bet that is the old record fish. There are not that many 10 lb. + bass swimming around up here in the north let alone in the same pond. Congrats to the angler!
