What did i say that was wrong? Brady was suspended for cheating and they had to wait a year for the suspension to take hold because of legal shenanigans wasting taxpayer money. I'd say the best player in Eagles history is top 5 all time no matter what position.

What type of line are you using? When i switched to braid for my weightless soft plastics i found that i was getting bit the same amount and my hook up percentage increased. You do have to watch the line a little more due to the slack line nature of the weightless plastic presentation but that is hardly a bad trade off to me for increased catches.

I bought a MacBook air in early 2013 for my online degree (masters in education program) and it is the same computer I am typing on right now. it has been a flawless computer and I have zero complaints. At my wife's work they use HP and she is on her 3rd one during that same time span. I just wish the Macbook Airs were as cheap when i bought mine as they are now. They have come down in price considerably. they also have some decent financing for 0% for like 2 years or something which is like getting free money to me.

I don't have experience with that model but i do have a helium cranking stick that i love. When it is time for me to replace some rods I will be going with Kistler or Duckett myself.

Braid in general doesn't have any shock resistance and combine that with it being 20lb, which is pretty thin, and any shock to the system will undoubtedly break the line. You say you think the thumb bar is engaging on the cast. that is pretty easy to check after the cast because the reel will be engaged. Yo are probably bumping the handle or something in the cast or if you transition from one hand to the other mid cast like many do you could be buying the handle enough to engage the reel. Backlash, well that is what it is. I would say bump up to 30lb braid and see if that fixes your problem and also next time it happens, check the reel to see if it as engaged. Good luck because i know it is frustrating....

I'll agree with the rod being the limiting factor in bass lures. When you do your annual service or send them in to DVT like I do, you will find out if you are wearing out your reel. I haven't had that issue in any of my reels.

I honestly feel that people who complain about the good old days are just making an excuse as to why they are not having success now. I have only been on this Earth 40 years and i can say i catch more and bigger fish now than i ever have. Whether that is due to skill or what is of no concern to me because it is happening.

You can cast the LM into the backing if you want to but i have never felt the need other than to see if i could do it I also think that technically the LM rod is a 10wt based on the line weight but it is pretty specialized and i don't think it truly compares. if you like the light speed reels, keep an eye out on sierra trading post, seems like Lamson unloads their reels there when new models come out or a redesign happens.

it is a lightspeed hard allox i'll have to check onto size but i want to say it is a 3.5. I probably could have gone with a 3 but i had a good deal on this one so i went with it.

I love it. It is a specialized rod though and you aren't going to get those perfect pretty casts all the time but for shooting line it is fantastic. The line that it comes with is a perfect weight and head size for the rod itself. It takes some getting used to because of it's stiffness and it's shorter length. I honestly think you could cast a wet sock if you wanted to....You just gotta let the rod do the work and get a reel that is balanced. I want to get the bluegill model for smaller creeks and smallmouth around here. It would be a perfect compliment to the LM model and my good old reliable 7wt XP (my favorite fly rod i have ever owned).

Good stuff right there. I love to fly fish for bass and trout. Trout is 100% on the fly and bass is probably 60/40 conventional. For me it is another tool to use. I can and have caught bass as deep as 10' on the fly rod but it just wasn't fun for me any deeper so i usually go conventional after 10'. My absolute favorite way to use the fly rod is picking apart a lilly pad field or heavy vegetation. You can drop flies on pockets and holes that you just can't do with a conventional set up as effectively. it is also a blast to pull them out of the slop Now I also have a rod that is designed of that type of assault and it is straight money...Sage Bass II Largemouth series. Also ironically enough, some of my very best days were when it was cold, like 45 degree water temps. I am guessing the more natural and slow presentation with a fly translated to success. man, now i really want to get out.....

I think people have been expecting him to breakdown for a few years now and it just hasn't happened. He is in crazy good shape and has been pretty much injury free. He also seems to be getting better. I am thinking he still has another 3-5. He can just do so much out there and isn't limited by one or two strengths.

I think Lebron stays in Cleveland though and they freed up a bunch of cap space after this season now too.

I would agree about Kyrie being better than IT. i think IT is on the downswing to be honest and Kyrie seems to be getting better and better. The Cavs wanted that draft pick more than anything I am sure.

jones doesn't have any more pull than any of the others, if he did, belly shirt wouldn't be suspended. As far as waiting a year, they were conducting their own research and investigation. They don't have a timetable to follow so they can get it right. I said it before he was even draft that it would just be a matter of time before he gets suspended it will just be a matter of for how long. This will be a wake up call to him hopefully and it will also be a wake up call to Cowboys fans that Dak isn't the reason they had success last year...
