Pedal drive kayaks
That one is new to me... I like pedal drive boats but i am perfectly content with my ATAK. There are a few lakes where having the pedal drive to cover long distances would be nice but not enough to warrant the price tag or upgrading my boat. My next boat will be a more river specific boat.

i thought you can distill your own up to a certain amount...but could be wrong. Yeah i was wrong....it is illegal- Any engineers on the forum?
ok that makes a little more sense. And keep in mind that many of the best people i have worked with were not the ones who aced all their classes.....they worked for everything they got and it showed in their work ethic and their end results. If you have a passion for it, then keep trucking along.- Any engineers on the forum?
I was a process engineer but i will say if one class is making you change your mind on a career then you need to buck up and make it work.- New fishing LURE invention
First thing i would say is work on your spelling and grammar because if i got a message that sounded or read like the one you posted i would be laughing. Good luck.....- Is it wrong to think top water has small window of opportunity?
until water temps drop to below 60, i have some sort of topwater tied on all times and this year, it has been 2 or 3 different ones. I have enjoyed a really good topwater bite this season at all times of day and night. It is about the situation you are presented and your ability to entice a strike with the topwater. Some of my bigger fish on topwater have been caught mid day near cover.- 14 Sept ~ 5lb Smallie
that thing is a pig!!! nice work- How do I avoid pike?

Dar didn't look as good as he did in preseason. As far as the two rookies in the NFC east making debuts, it was hands down Wentz. I was shocked since he was from a small school and didn't even play in the preseason but in game 1. Prescott looked to be rushing and not handling the big stage and Elliot was a non-factor.- Braided VS Mono
don't you think that feeling the vibrations with braid would be beneficial? I know i do. I like braid and hybrid lines myself. I personally haven't caught any less fish because of the alleged visibility of braid. I know many think it matters and use a flouro leader. As far as lb test goes i usually go by diameter...spinning gets anywhere from 4-6lb diameter and bait casters i use anywhere from 8-12lb diameter braid. Color, i usually go with greens or browns and have used hi vis yellow which really helps for line watching techniques.- ~The Road to the Super Bowl 2016 & 2017~
The Eagles beat at sam that they should have on paper and they did so convincingly. I do like what i saw in Wentz as he seems to have poise not seen in a rookie QB, let alone one from a small school and one that didn't play in the preseason. They keep the playbook simple for him and it showed bit he made the plays. His long ball was very nice today....I will curb my enthusiasm though until I see him play a few more games against some better teams.- If you could fish with anyone from the forums, who would it be?
The two on my list would be WayneP and A-Jay. Wayne has an incredible knowledge of electronics and learning from him would be awesome. As far as A-jay goes, he just seems like a cool guy to hang out with and besides, he has that fancy new boat now- Does lighter mean more sensitive?
quantify what sensitive is and you can get an answer but since that is impossible to do, you will have to judge it for yourself as everyones idea of sensitivity is different. then of course there i also the 100 different variables involved as well....- I came home today to find an infestation of frogs!
I bought some of the clones to try them out but i am itching to get the custom ones...they are beautiful and they without doubt, produce.- Buying used kayaks---documentation?
that should be all you need depending on your state. Some companies will also provide another origin document if asked.- Best use of first aid supplies sufficient enough to fit into a pocket for fishing?
if you are thinking of doing stitches, get some super glue instead. saved me on many a climbing trip when i'd tear up my fingers.- Best use of first aid supplies sufficient enough to fit into a pocket for fishing?
flask of your favorite spirit....i only carry some tape because i'll deal with any injury later. if it is bad enough for me to stop fishing then i probably should be going to the ER.- Learned a valuable fishing lesson today
I'm heading out in the morning....of course it is an electric only lake that you need to get a permit for and rarely has any boat traffic anyways. My last chance to get out before the school year starts and i'll be damned if i am staying home lol- ~The Road to the Super Bowl 2016 & 2017~
Anyone who wouldn't have traded Bradford for a first and a 4th would have to be a moron. I am more surprised that they gave the keys to Wentz as long as his ribs are healed. I figured Daniel would be the starter till he proved he shouldn't be or they were out of the playoff hunt. Now i just have to hope for the vikings to fail miserably.- Ride 115 Upgrades vs ATAK
the biggest increase in the ride price was due to the upgraded seat which is a big upgrade. As far as the ATAK goes, it has a lot going on so i am ok with the price, especially since i don't plan on upgrading any time soon.- New guy with a question about rod size in a kayak/canoe.
I use the same rods ranging from 6'6" to 9' for my bank, boat or kayak fishing. I prefer 6'8" or longer for conventional rods though but it is a preference more than a necessity.- Offshore fishing/marking areas
I am still learning how to best utilize my Helix SI unit and beginning to venture further and further from the protection of the bank lol I have just been using land markers and aligning myself to fish certain structures etc...and have had some success. Anyways, i recently bought a book on amazon for my class and forgot that i had some marker buoys in my cart from before and lo and behold, they were delivered today. So my question is, if i am paddling around and see something on either SI or sonar that i want to fish, do i simply chuck the buoy out and then position myself to fish said buoy or do you wait for a few feet before tossing it overboard to mark the area to be fished? I am usually paddling between 2.5-3.5 MPH when searching for an area to fish. being in a kayak it isn't real easy to stay in position and after you catch a fish you are always going to be moved unless you are anchored.- ~The Road to the Super Bowl 2016 & 2017~
They have been stacking the box on AP his entire career and well, we see how that went lol not like cowboys "fans"....most are bandwagon jumpers from days past and only show up in the preseason and if their team is winning. - Anyone here ever make a moonshine still
