most people who fish from a paddle board have a paddle holder so you don't have to bend over all the time.

pretty common. I know a guy who fishes rivers with his with no issues.

keep in mind money to be spent on a paddle, PFD and transportation of the kayak if you don't have a truck.

I usually grow a beard around Christmas time and shave it in the spring and keep the goatee...this year i still have the beard going but i keep it trimmed shorter for the summer. I can't stand neck beards and long hairs around my top lip so that gets trimmed.

i had the exact opposite happen to me. A VA warden told me a digital copy was fine.

Best thing i ever did was finish up my trailer. less than $500 into it including lifetime registration and i am pleased. above is the link to my post describing it all..... I like the yakima trailer but it is pretty much only a toy hauler and that's it....no real weight bearing capacity. I have also heard great things about the malone trailers that are like the yakima. If i had the money i would have bought the http://www.spacetrailers.com best of both worlds with lockable storage and the ability to take off the top and use it as a utility trailer as needed. Just too pricey for me right now.

The blanks are also made in mexico as well. I thought they were made in wisconsin and shipped to Mexico for assembly but that is not the case. Not that it makes a difference but i figured if i was confused someone else probably was too

I have used mine for two years with probably 100 days on the water and have no issues. I also run braid on the three rods as well.

just become fly fisherman, you would be amazed at the amount of flies you can carry in a medium sized fly box.

Well, it has happened. After starting my Masters degree for teaching almost 2 years ago I can say that one part of my life is ending and another is beginning. I was offered, and i subsequently accepted, a position in an elementary school as a 4th grade teacher here in the city of Richmond. The school is probably the toughest elementary school around as it basically serves 4housing projects. I was told by a few teacher friends that it is a tough group of kids for sure but the administration was good. I had an initial interview with the assistant principal which went well and then a follow up yesterday with the same assistant principal and 2 of the teachers. We had a great conversation and i felt that the support system would be there, especially since i am a new teacher and in a tough school. Anyways, just thought i would share with all of my virtual friends on here. I am sure after a few weeks i will post up some more of the crazy stuff i will see because from what those teachers told me, something ridiculous happens every single day....

Parents or other family members aren't taking kids out fishing. Fishing is also an expendable income sport and with the economy still recovering, many don't have the funds to spend on fishing stuff.

After reading this thread before i decided i would chuck an xrap today. Caught one pickerel and had a decent sized bass on that threw the hook at the side of the kayak. Funny thing is on my very first cast, I wasn't used to the extra weight as opposed to the fluke i was using and it went right over a log and got snagged. I almost bagged it right then lol

I think i have that casting rod and that is a great price. I have three rage rods and am a big fan and for that price, you won't find a better rod out there.

zoom has a bait similar called the stick fluke or something....not big craw pinchers but it has a fluke tail on it. might be worth checking out for you

i like eva but have some cork too the big thing for me is i don't like full handles so it really doesn't matter the material

how do you know it is a hot color if it doesn't exist? there are tons of custom bait manufacturers out there that can probably make whatever you want.

I am in. Another option for settling a tie at the end is to move into the playoffs with a clean slate of teams to choose from....just a thought.
