  1. I have seen them in other applications and they seem pretty cool. I know the torqueedo electric motors use them too
  2. I prefer screw locks by gammy or trokar for all my frogs usually in a 4/0 or 5/0

Yes sir. I love spinach so i figured rather than eat salads all the time i would incorporate it in a different meal and format.I will say it is much easier and blends more easily if you get all the fruit and yogurt blended before you drop in the spinach.
  4. THey are in the buzz frog category like has been mentioned. I like them when i want a more subtle leg kick then say a stanley ribbit or looking for a less bulky presentation. There are times that the zoom is the only thing that i can get a bite on even after trying multiple different styles. I have also heard that they are pretty good on a short leader carolina rig but i personally haven't tried them in that capacity.

I have done the P90X before and the biggest thing that helps performance was sticking to the meal plan. I am not a nutrition nazi like they are but i am pretty good about what i eat even before i started working out again. On a side note, if anyone is looking for a way to add veggies to your diet i found out today that adding two handfuls of spinach to my morning smoothie (Greek yogurt, banana, skim milk, frozen strawberries & protein powder) does nothing to the taste but it does turn the entire thing green and gives you get some more vegetables in your diet

    Totally understandable

That is awesome. I have never been much of a runner other than in playing sports. The only time i run now is if something is chasing me that is able to eat me or i cannot beat it up

I have a done a few of the insanity and asylum workouts and they are just not my cup of tea. To much like cardio classes you used to see on the infomercials 10 years ago:) I can't wait to be able to get back on my road bike again once the weather warms up a little bit.

So I posted on here about a month ago about starting p90x again and well I got bored, had to travel a bunch for work and decided to bag it. I ordered the P90x2 and so far so good. It is completely different than the original and my first impression was this is all gimmick, that was until the next morning and I was sore as crap. It is three phases like the first but the mindset is different. First phase is core work, oh and the phases are not a preset amount of time either, you go until you feel you have mastered the techniques, they recommend 3-6 weeks. The second phase is strength training and the third is performance training. Definitely looking forward to keep on with the program as the speedo wearing shore season is coming up fast
  10. I fish visible cover best but end of last season i started cranking deeper more "offshore" structure and really enjoy it. I want to do more of that and fish more deep water off shore structure this season for sure.
  11. I am a big rick clunn fan from back when i was a kid to now. To me any time one of the old school guys is on the water they are a threat and i would bet that fishing to him isn't about winning against hte other competitors as much as it is him winning against the bass. Kind of like golf, yeah you win a tournament but in essence you are competing against the course itself. I can say that there have been times where i have felt this super focus and when it happens i usually do quite well but unfortunately i do not get in that zone as often as i would like.
  12. Being a phillies fan i am obviously excited at spring training results for howard and brown but trying to be cautiously optimistic at the same time. Apparently Wally joiner has been helping them both out and we are seeing the results. What is nice to see for me is i think howard has only struck out 3-4 times in 9-10 games. I am most curious to see what hte nationals do. THey hd a great season last year but i wonder if the career years many players had will be able to be repeated and how their season ended was ridiculous and i don'tcare what hte experts say, that type of choke weighs on you in the offseason. Braves also look to be very good. NL east is going ot be very competitive and very split, i could seee the best and worse records in baseball coming out of the division
  13. Hybrids can be a little more "sea worthy" with the addition of a bow cover too
  14. Type of water is key to determining what would work best. My flatwater kayak is a hybrid commander 120. Super stable and tons of room but no scuppers for self draining. Other good stand ready options are the native ultimate, wildly ride series and some of the Jackson boats. There are also a lot of people jumping on the paddle board bandwagon with lots of success. Honestly there are a ton of good boats out there and given your price range you probably have about $600 to spend on a boat and 100-200 to spend on a PFD and paddle, both required gear. Try and find a local shop that is having a demo days and get out there and paddle them and usually there are sweet deals to be had.
  15. Well I had one but unfortunately the bad outweighed the good and she is now the ex-wife
  16. Releasing a PB is different than a state record. I mean if I caught the VA state record I would do my best to keep it alive and call the dgif to meet me wherever so that fish could stay alive or at least make a reasonable attempt. I think it's a troll post and I started the feeding....
  17. Or find one that likes to go with you
  18. there is no right or wrong thing here actually. Most states do not require a fish to be killed to be certified and beating a record by 2lbs is pretty crazy and many scales are proven to be inaccurate so i am calling BS on this one.....
  19. Any type of swimbait is not a numbers bait in my experience, it is a quality fish catcher.
  20. I hope you are being sarcastic here........i would bet sportscenter is one of the highest rated shows period, with the only thing taking away from ratings is that it is pretty much on all day long on one of the various ESPN channels.
  21. I prefer leftys too so let me know if cbass doesn't want it.....
  22. Brady's pay cut isn't much really but since it is the beloved patriots that's all you hear. It is more of a restructuring and has more guaranteed money.

Nice. They started to struggle as soon as they went public.
  24. I will second or third the costa glass suggestion. I also prefer a copper or rose copper lens color. I have the mirrored green costas now and love them. You also have to remember that you will or should wear sunglasses all the time for uv protection regardless of if you are fishing
  25. How deep are we talking and are you pegging the weight? I like reaction baits around woody cover and I also peg my weights almost all the time. You might also try some shaky heads as they also seem to come through cover pretty well. Soft swim baits are another option too.... Weightless plastics will also, work like a fluke or a stick bait. As you can see you aren't really to limited just chuck it out there and don't be to upset or irritated by a few break offs.
