  1. I went to batteries plus and asked for the smallest 12v they had....ran me about 40 with a charger. I also haven't gone crazy with my mounting yet as I just use Velcro straps to fasten it to my foot peg rails with female connectors crimped to the end of the wires. Has done the job for me for over a year. It was originally supposed to be temporary but since it has worked of so long I have just left it as is.
  2. In the p90x and p90x2 workouts they do pretty much all of these exercises and few other variations. One that I hate is burpees on a stability ball or with a medicine ball for each hand.....I am still sore from my Wednesday workout but it could also be from building a raised bed garden today too.....
  3. I think the craziest one was the clap pull up.....that is the kind of video to show, people who say they can't workout because of no equipment or access to a gym.....
  4. Straight braid. Not much of a leader guy unless I am fishing super clear water. I think the bigger question is could you thrown 6lb diameter braid on a baitcaster and not run into trouble. I find that 8lb diameter is about as low as i want to go myself.
  5. Not super unrealistic if you go down to 6lb diameter braid. I recently went to 8lb diameter PP Super slick and my DT6 were bumping bottom in 7-8" FOW.
  6. Yeah i saw that. I also heard people were speculating that going for that no-hitter and the high number of pitches potentially was the cause too.
  7. How did you know they were full of discarded plastics?
  8. Change locations. I have never caught a large bass in the immediate vicinity of a bunch of smaller fish. Keep searching and realize that big fish are harder to catch and it can be a waiting game.
  9. if it is a good price and what you want then buy it. Crap happens and it's not like you paid first and then he sold it....
  10. to me it depends on the season. When it's cold i seem to do well mid day, 11-3 but warmer weather i seem to do well from about 6pm till midnight or so.
  11. welcome aboard. There is a meet & greet scheduled for the end of August that you could try and attend and meet everyone. There aer a lot of good fishing spots within a few hours so you won't have a problem finding a place to wet a line
  12. I have seen plenty of boats out there with larger motors just using the trolling motors. I don't see why it wouldn't be worth it but it can get windy so make sure your batteries are charged up and you should be good to go. I was out at a pond/lake here this past weekend and surface water temps were reading in the 47-50 range so it is getting close but I couldn't find them, all I caught was a pickerel.
  13. I try not to work more than 40-50 a week but I also don't hesitate to bust out early and I always use up all my vacation time. I am truly happy and blessed that I have a good job and am able to provide for my family and spend time with them as much as I do.
  14. I agree as well. Chapman is a beast and with his throwing style as a starter you are looking at tommy John surgery in a few years.
  15. I like the 832 as well and it happens to be on sale at cabelas right now as well....
  16. Nice job. I was wondering where you have been
  17. You guys are missing the point of the rule. It isn't about keeping your head up it is about not using the crown of your helmet as a weapon. Like anyone who plays football knows leading with the top of your head is not how anyone is taught to run through a tackler. This isn't a rule about injuries now as much as it is trying and preventing long term effects from a culmination of hits over the course of a career. Felix hit it dead on though in it is how it's officiated and called more than anything.
  18. How heavy of a load, were you pulling in a whale? I have lifted pretty good size logs with braid without a palomar slipping
  19. Stankxbaitco stick baits for me after going from GYCB to dingers and I think the stankxbaitco are as good if not better than dingers but they all catch fish z:)
  20. Actually sunscreen on any day where the sun is high in the sky, spring through fall really. I know friends who have been sunburned on a completely cloudy day before.
  21. I pitch with spinning gear all the time and it is plenty accurate. Everyone says you are more accurate with baitcasters but i disagree, they are both equally accurate once you learn how to use both. The key is featheringhte line with either your off hand or a finger on your pitching hand. I use both methods and both work to slow the bait down enough to limit splashing upon entry. Also the quality of hte reel won't make to much of a difference when pitching but it is important to have a balanced set up based on how you hold the rod.
  22. I missed the bassmaster airing of Rojas and his interview but it sounds like it was somethign that should have been handled man to man and not in a public forum and it is kind of crappy that Jones didn't get a chance to say his piece on air as well.
  23. Sage bass series II with a lamsom reel....
  24. I picked VCU to win today and lose in the next round....
  25. Nope more concerned with UV exposure myself.
