  1. same way I store them in the summer....i have a round rack and a flat rack that holds all of them. I keep them in my garage so while it gets cold, it doesn't get cold enough for me to worry about anything. I do usually wind all my fly rod line on the reels though as that can get pretty stiff in the cold
  2. Not sure what healthy means to you but the last 10 years or so of the swimsuit issue hasn't had those rail thin skinny women. Now if you said realistic i could buy that but these aren't normal women at all...they are models who work pretty hard to look like they do.
  3. Barstool is an interesting company really. Literally started as a free handout where they hired homeless to hand the papers out. I am pretty sure they were bought out for a couple 100M then he bought it back for next to nothing.
  4. Elliot has been banging clutch field goals his entire career and I was still surprised he nailed that one. As far as the Bills go, I don't care if they make it or not because we already played them and won They have some talent for sure but so do a lot of teams. Bottom line is they have a 17 game season and if you can't make the playoffs, then you aren't good/talented enough.
  5. 10-1 in one of the craziest games I have seen in the last 20+ years. Really typifies the philly buffalo teams though. Hurts flat out knows how to win....
  6. I see them as the same cart just one you can't switch to a non bunk style. Me personally, I have never felt the need to have a cart that i could swith the bars differently than a bunk style. I currently have the wilderness systems cart and if i was in the market for a new one, I would get the bunkster over the tow N stow.
  7. You will be happy with that motor for sure. I know I have been for the 3+ seasons I have used mine. I couldn't justify the added cost for the torqeedo...just didn't make sense to me.

overrated. I don't get why people want the whole experience when shopping. Let me get my **** and get out. Wawa basically has said that they designed their stores and business model around efficiency and getting people through the line and out of the store quickly and with good service. I will take that model every time.
  9. Picture defintiely helps. What I wou.d do is just try and raise the bars above the fenders then slide the kayak to one side of the rack and the rod case. Not sure how those bars are mounted though You also may be able to use some PVC bunks which would raise the kayak enough to put ot over the one fender then it would allow you room for the rod box without having something up in the air. I am not a fan of having things high up if I don't have to.
  10. Without seeing the kayak trailer there is no way to know or suggest anything. I have seen all kinds of different kayak trailers out there.
  11. that price isn't shocking but your buddy not being able to stand up in a PA is lol
  12. Best team in the league showed it last night on the road......plain and simple. There is no debate right now. Now they need to get it together on offense and keep improving, get healthy and peak at the right time to make a run.
  13. I thought you said you primarily stand in the kayak but I may be wrong. If you are standing then get the rod you want as being in a kayak doesn't matter. I have never found a longer rod to be an issue and I fish with fly rods up to 9' in length.
  14. My dad used to say you have to hold your mouth right to catch fish..... One of the old school fly fishing books I read way back in the day talked about spooking fish and how they would walk to a pool in a small stream and just stand there and observe, quietly. This served two purposes, one was to see what activity was going on and two, allow any spooked or non-spooked fish to see you as part of the environment now. Of course that is harder to do than it is to say but it undoubtedly works for me on trout streams and when wade fishing smaller flows for brown bass.
  15. This reminds me of when I first was a customer service rep for a bank around 20 years ago. We were pushing for people to register online to reduce calls into the call center and I can't tell you how many people were like oh, I am not registering online then anyone can get my information. I always wanted to say, do you think that just because you aren't registered online that I have to go to our filing cabinet and get your info to review with you?
  16. Beautiful set up and you are gonna love it up there on the susky.
  17. I never understood the no Jet or tunnel rule once they said you have to use the same boat all season. You would have advantages in some lakes and disadvantages in others. Bottom line is who cares what they fish out of if they are catching and winning, right? I equate it to someone taking points off a test because they didn't write the date. Is that measuring mastery of the topic?
  18. All depends on the tour really. I am sure that there are some locals who win bigger tournaments on their home waters in smaller boats but I have never bothered to look.
  19. This is nothing new and has been going on for well over a decade. I turn off microphone access so the only targeted ads i get are if I am searching for soemthing which sets the algorithm in action. Of course then there are the random ones too that are always comical. I'll take targeted ads any day of the week if I am in the process of trying to purchase something. Many times they have deals and thigns that are solid.
  20. I like the x-raps and the shadow rap series. I carry lead tape with me so I can adjust characteristics while on the water. I have found the tape is easier to use than the dots and besides that, I use it for tyingflies as well.
  21. Very philosophical argument from a philosopher.....and one who doesn't believe that experiments are needed to define things and our feelings are a critical piece of making these determinations. This is all fine and probably good coffee conversation but it isn't science.
  22. I think most are probably recommended to store hull up but I may be wrong. I store mine on my trailer that has 3" PVC bunks to support all but about a foot on both ends. Has worked well for the last 5+ years and nothing more than a tightening of some straps and hooking it up and i am ready to go
  23. right now the air temps are too cold for me to think about fishing in the rain. now come summer time, as long as it isn't thundering, I will most likely head out unless it is absolutely dumping because no mater what gear you have, you wo't be comfortable all day. Then there is also having to sry out all your **** when you get home too....not my favorite thing to do
  24. So my son and I went to see his show this week and if you don't know, he is probably the only astro physicist that people actually recognize. He basically had abotu a 2 hour presentation that went about 2hr 30minutes and it was a great show. It is nice to see people who are highly educated in a field that is complicated and complex not have that I am smarter than you feeling. I would recommend if you are into that stuff that you go see his show, it is a good time.
  25. As a kid my dad took me on a guided trip with Bob Clouser and it got me hooked on smallie fishing and that river in particular. It is about a 4 hour one way trip for me but I wil ldo day trips up there when I have the time to do it. Totally worth the drive to know on any given day you can have multiple 18" plus fish and a chance at true giants.
