  2. Yeah northern mass methuen about 10seconds is what I felt. But also earthquakes in japan are more common than here in northeast us so I think it may have stirred then up a bit
  3. I had a jig fit a 5/0 super line in I mouth hittin a bass assassin soft jerk last year and I've had a fingerling bass hook to a series 4 strike king that was bigger than the fish I think it's more reaction
  4. What was every body's catches this weekend? Tonight is a new moon did it help anyone? I got a 3.10 lb tonight as well as a 1.13. The first one was on my first cast at sunset at one of my favorite spots. I use a couple fishing log apps and this spot is getting slammed with pictures of catches. They were both caught on a 5/16oz bitsy jig in blk/blu with a blk/blu salty chunk jr. Both less than 3 ft of water at a natural stone retaining wall that has produced countless bass. How do you post pics here? I can't quite tell if this is a lm or sm I know what to look for but the color markings and jaw could go either way
  5. I've read a lot of controversy about shutting down the power plant to get rid of the warn water discharge does anyone know If they've done so yet? I not who knows some details about the hooksett pool on the Merrimack there and the structure/cover. ThAt will be one of my winter hotspots
  6. How did hedgehog pond turn out to be
  7. Thanks to the old historic usgs maps and some mapping software I've located the old north salem road that runs through the reservoir. If anyone is interested I can share. It actually crosses with an old creek bed aswell so it certainly will hold numbers
  8. Tim4vols what color rage chunk do you use with the white chatter. And parkman what color kvd 1.5
  9. Jig. Either a grn pumpkin or brown weed less jig with a craw trailer of some sort. I prefer paca chunk or rage chunk in green pumpkin. Or you can do the same jig and trailer combo in black/ blue. Flip or pitch to then shallow and hang on
  10. Crestliner do you fish through the winter in mass? I'm in nh on mass border and I fish rivers in winter Have you ever fished the quabbin?
  11. I can't believe nobody mentioned "The Big Book of Bass" strategies for catching largemouth and smallmouth The book is incredible and I've read quite a few boks from the in fisherman bass books. Mike iaconelli, bass fishing like a pro, and other largemouth and smallmouth tactic books. Every serious angler needs to check it out
  12. There is fish of weight in there and the 2 lb was caught in there and I don't know why that's so hard I believ unh 2lbs is not very big
  13. I'll have to try honey pot out is there a place to fish from shore I'm selling my bass boat and getting a kayak but in the meantime shore fishing
  14. Where are you guys getting the heavyweights. I have had a few days of being skunked I tried nutts pond w just one dink nice markings though and that's it
  15. Last cast in the dark has my best of te year as well. Where was that whale caught in nh?
  16. I use the paca chunk often it's one of my go to jig trailers. Anywhere from 1/4 to and ounce works well on the river I fish which is not to quick but a slow pull to it except for on run riffles and rapids. You may find going a bit heavier will allow for a bit more accuracy as well as holding ground in current the paca chunk is bulky and catches water but its a great plastic yull love it
  17. Who has a killer spot that produces hit after hit come fall? Anywhere in Manchester, Nashua? How about the rivers does anyone know any tributaries of the Merrimack that the pigs go? What are people throwing these days now that the days are shorter and the leaves are changing? One of my spots on the Merrimack is hot right now I'm killing them with white tandem spinnerbaits, a strike king 1.5 in sexy shad, and jigs. Black/blue flake S.K. Denny Brauer tour w black/blue salty chunk jr. Also a few w my all terrain grn pumpkin stone jig with a rage tail chunk matching grn pumpkin
  18. Has anyone tried the 7.5 inch triple treble jitterbug or the black booyah spinnerbaits w the huge nickle colorado blade? I haven't landed anything on ether yet but the vibration the booyah puts out is in matched. I know the glory of the medium jitterbug. Bloop bloop bloop SMASH!

  20. Alotta of my fishin is done in the dark due to work and family time. Got a chance the other night to toss some baits in wash pond one of my personal faves as well as one of my childhood waters. Not a bad night a couple smaller guys about a lb and a half which theres an abundance of a monster pickerel and lastly the lunker of the evening a 2.7lber in the pitch black. Love those hard hitters in the dark of the night. My most productive pattern in the dark is a 1/2oz ftball jig w a havoc twin tail grub in brown or grn pmkn thrown to shallow stone banks or stone retaining walls nd hopped and bounced into the rocks. Always a killer for me. Who else has a knockout pattern for bassin in pitch black we could benefit from?
  21. Fishing spots and catch-it. Are the 2 I use I don't like myfishingpatterns because my phone won't connect with the website to update my rods reels and tackle so I can't use it correctly. I can't find the jimmy Houston one is that iTunes?
  22. I've caught a few in the merrimack during winter but I believe it was more luck than having a good spot unh do u know if pine island pond freezes I know it's dammed so I'm wondering if the water moves enough to stay opened if it does it's shallow enough to easily find and fish the winter haunt. As for whined margaritas I can get down there but I don't think any fish will winter there would they? How bout behind Stellos? Is it deep enough for bass to winter they don't like current when it's freezing I know that but if there is any eddys around that are deep they'll pile up
  23. Who fished through winter here? Particularly in mass or nh. I don't ice fish or hunt just fish anywhere I can that hasn't froze over. Last year was ideal with the mild winter I was able to fish the Dam at mystic reservoir upper and lower as well as the Merrimack river in Manchester and bedford. What do you use for bait/ presentation/ and where do you fish. I'm definAtely going to try the warm water disharge in bow this year I've seen YouTube videos of people catching bass in December and January any one know where the bass winter in any deep pools along the Merrimack ?
