  1. That's a pretty fish right there!
  2. Geeze...nice one man!
  3. Ha! I've already forgotten to do this 2 or 3 times and I've only had my first baitcaster for a couple weeks.
  4. Guess your right...didn't think about that. I mean, they're fine in my car even when I got my AC cranked all the way up but flying through the air in winter temps with possible snow/rain could be a completely different story. The design definitely needs some tweaking but I'd still think it was awesome if one of those things delivered my pizza.
  5. There are obviously some kinks that need to be worked out and some obstacles that need to be overcome and your probably right about it not happening anytime soon. The main problem I see is the cost of the thing. I'm sure they're not cheap and each store would need to have several if they were planning to do away with drivers entirely. Don't think the pizza getting cold would be an issue though. Those hot bags are surprisingly well insulated. Then again, I suppose Dominos could just be pulling a publicity stunt here but it's still kinda cool
  6. Did you check the eyelets where the hooks attach as well? I'm not 100% on this but I think I read somewhere that if those eyelets are bent it can make the bait run off center. Just a thought.
  7. Saw an article yesterday with this video. Apparently Dominos over in the UK is looking at using drones to deliver pizzas in the future. This video shows one of the test flights. The article said it flew 4 miles in 10 minutes, faster than a delivery driver since the driver would have to deal with traffic and red lights. Since this is only a prototype it can only carry enough weight to deliver 2 large pepperoni pizzas but they are looking at upgrading the carrying capacity to allow for larger orders to be delivered. Looks like I could be out of a job in a few years...unless I learn to fly one of these things.
  8. Got some monsters there...nice job!
  9. Welcome to Bass Resource!
  10. Cool vid and a pretty nice trout too!
  11. Welcome to Bass Resource!
  12. Scroll through the pages of this thread. There are pics of some MONSTER bluegill. http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-forums/topic/112221-id-really-like-to-get-a-message-to-fish-chris/?hl=bluegill
  13. It's already been said. The guys here are really knowledgeable and I'm sure they can help you out. You didn't say if you fished or not but if I had some of my dad's old lures, I'd hold on to them.
  14. Hey Big-O, I've rigged them before like your diagram shows but I was wondering what the purpose of trimming off the belly fin is?
  15. Awesome trip man...got some real fatty's there!
  16. I hear ya. 20k is a heck of a fine and you were just trying to do your job. Still feel bad for the raccoon though. Sometimes I can get a little hippy-ish when it comes to animals.
  17. The impression that I got was either a rig similar to a Beetle Spin (http://www.basspro.com/Johnson-Original-Beetle-Spin/product/15602/?cmCat=CROSSSELL_PRODUCT) or maybe just attaching a swivel/blade to the hook eye with a split ring. Could be wrong though. Maybe the op will post a pic.
  18. There's a farm by one of the lakes I frequent that has a peacock. The first time I heard it, I could have sworn someone was in trouble and calling for help. I'm used to it now but its definitely a strange sound if you've never heard it before.
  19. Pretty cool...gotta love those bonus fish!
  20. You know your on em when your holding up 4 fish in each picture...WTG!
  21. Good looking fish!
  22. That's a biggun...nice fish!
