mystery fish!!!
Used to catch those in Jersey, called them Oyster Crackers. Real name is Oyster Toadfish: http://www.fisheries.vims.edu/toadfish.htm

Wave Tiki Lobster
Shipping is Sky High! I would order a ton of those Tiki Snakes and Tiki Anacondas, but shipping doubles the cost. Forget it.

berkley gulp, bass bait, or catfish magnet???
If you put gulp in a minnow trap, you'll catch a ton of cool stuff - I put one out in the Potomac while fishing one day and got shad/minnows, small bream, crayfish, a little eel, a goby looking thing, and either a mad tom and/or a baby catfish. As for using it to catch bass? Good luck.

Lure retreivers
Cool Idea, I'm gonna try this. I've wasted enough money on lure retrievers that don't work!

Cotton Candy color?
Pink is pink, but isn't Cotton Candy a 'smoke' colored bait with purple, green and gold flecks?
-
best crankbait for shallow pond water
Bandit Footloose or Bandit 100.

Just a heads up...
I'll hit mine on the way home...

Brush Hogs
I've always detached them, but will give it a shot 'stock'-style...

KVD perfect plastics
I really like the Perfect Plastic line. The Ocho is great, just as soft as a senko. The Hawg bait is an upgrade over the Brush Hog (though I still use the brush hog). I have some caffeine shads that I haven't tried out yet... My only beef with the line is the colors. Not enough variety.

BPS XPS Stalker Tackle Bag
I have this bag and love it! My wife is getting me a second one for my birthday, in case I wear this one out and they don't offer it anymore.

SENKOS i need alil bit of understanding
Cool, a senko thread... I'm in before the lock...

Who's fishing Pink??
I love pink sluggos. The fish kill them.

Gambler Flappy Daddy?
Looks cool, but haven't tried it. I'm a big fan of Gambler baits, so will probably grab some of these at BPS next go 'round...

Mend-it Reivew
I'm on my second bottle. This stuff is gold. I haven't had to buy replacement baits all summer so far. The senkos don't have ridges in the middle anymore, but they still work. I've saved a ton of dough on not having to buy new bags of Senkos, Sweet Beavers, Rage Tail Shads, and KVD Brush hogs. The only thing I wonder is if this stuff is just straight acetone, and if I could be saving more $$$ by just getting some nail polish remover. It smells the same.... Will have to raid my wife's nightstand to see if acetone works...

Bagley' Mama Cat Crankbait...How Low Will She Go
I have some still in the package... I'll check them and report back when I find them...

Anyone using Keitech Baits?
Never heard of them, but after checking out TW, I really like the looks of that V-Tail Crawler finesse worm...
-
Crankbaits and small fish
The sunfish did the same with me during their spawn (though not nearly as bad), and Crappie do it at my lake at the end of september... I don't know the perch's spawning cycles, but maybe they're going through a spawn and protecting their areas. Or they're really really hungry.

Vintage Heddon Wood Lures
What are the names of the lures? Ebay is the quickest way to gauge the market value of things, but not all collectors buy from ebay so it is not a precise measurement of value.

YUM Beavers
I agree... I bought Yum Beavers, Gander Mt Brand Beavers, and BPS Beavers... They don't measure up to the original at all. The plastic is too springy, and too light. The Berkley Beast is a pretty good beaver style bait, but maybe because of the scent I keep catching catfish and snapping turtles on them (which is odd b/c I don't catch either when I fish a regular Berkley power worm...) The best beaver knock off that I've found is the Lake Fork version, called The Flipper. They are just as soft, salty, and heavy as Reaction Innovation Sweet Beavers...

"Refurbished" LC's on Ebay
The guy's feedback has some complaints about these being knock-offs... I'd stay away.

Salt
I think it's a gimmick. I haven't ever had any baits stick to each other so much that I need salt to disentangle them.
-
What lure is this?
LOL, that's it alright. What a dumb gimmick. Good marketing though, both my kids knew what they were when we saw them at the store...
-
Requiem for a Bandit...
LOL, thanks. I hope he lands in the hands of someone like you... I have some new ones coming from TW. I promise to give each one the respect they deserve.

Requiem for a Bandit...
Haha, don't be jealous, the fishing dept sucks nowadays. Very generic stuff, nothing very exciting... We have two Super Wal-Marts now in Winchester, and neither sports an adequate fishing dept...
