How Does The Curado I Compare To The Chronarch E?
Question: The Chronarch E series has a connected feel, its smooth but you still feel it working in a good way. Where as my Sustain FG, its smooth as hell and thats all you feel. I'm guessing thats X Ship and does the Curado I feel like that? Smooth without any connection to the reel itself?

Best Use For My New Tatula Rod
Sorry OP for jacking thread. Bearings are abec 5 in all my CHs, my e5 and e7 feel like they cast better. I think it's just not good on that rod.

Best Use For My New Tatula Rod
the Chronarch 201e6 is what I've been using for 2 years for flukes and jerk baits. Just never handled lighter stuff well on that rod. Water under the bridge now lol.

Best Use For My New Tatula Rod
I just started using my Tatulas. They're pretty awesome! If you already have one get a second! What's your spinner/ buzz combo?

Best Use For My New Tatula Rod
Btw Fluoro for worms jigs t-rigs and mono for the spinners buzz etc. Btw2 The Tatula reel is pretty d**n impressive nothing wrong with a matching combo.

Spinnerbait Line?
12# mono for spinnerbaits and 10-17# FC for squares.

Best Use For My New Tatula Rod
With those baits(spinners buzz chatter) you'll 9/10 times get a reaction strike. So the shorter rod works on the hookset no prob. Also helps, in my case, making roll casts without smacking anything on the boat. lol When I'm throwing worms, jigs, t-rigs etc shallow I'm 90% of the time pitching so a longer rod, again in my case a 7'3" helps. and also when I crank down and set the hook home I'm moving way more line with the longer rod.

Lews Questions
Ok just double checked all of their reels on their site.. So BB1L and TS1SLMG are my 2 options.

Lews Questions
Thanks all! Yea I want the lower ratio, and its not available in the Tourney Pros. Basically its those 2 reels in Lefty. Guy who recommended it to me was basically saying the magnetic braking on the MG is outstanding. I'm primarily going to be chucking DT10s and 6XDs with this one.

Lews Questions
Ahh so its pretty much like the Chronarch E as well, but Shimano uses "Infinite Anti Reverse" as the moniker...

Best Use For My New Tatula Rod
that size and power IMO would be ideal for bladed lures, spinner baits, buzz baits, chatter baits. Paired witha 7:1 you cant go wrong.

Lews Questions
DVT! I have no idea what redundant mechanical means. I read a review on TT about the real and the way they made it sound, to me anyways, was like you can back reel a fish. Another review says its ideal for crankbaits and thats what I plan on getting it for. Idk... I dont want to shell out $200 right now on another chronarch so was looking at this or a Lexa. Already have Tatulas so figured try a quality Lews reel.

Powell Rods
+1 just got a endurance from them for $130 Cody is a good dude!

Lews Questions
Read some of them have 'multi stop anti reverse' but can't find what that means. The tourney mg doesn't. Seems like the way to go? Any thoughts?

6:4:1 Gear Ratio.....ugh?!!!
I sweep steady and smooth on everything with trebles.
-
Lews Questions
Not familiar with their baitcasters at all. Was recommended a tournament mg 5.4:1 however saw the bb1 comes in 5.1:1. Any chance some of you guys could chime in on the major differences between the 2 and what advantages would be going higher in price to various models, as well as which models are newer vs older. Wanna try one out and don't know where to start. But will say I want lowest gear ration or least inches per turn in lefty. Thanks!

6 Rod System
I'll add line for you too. 7' - 7'3" Spinning - ML/F (finesse, drop shot, wacky rigs) 6# Fluoro 7' Casting - M/F (1/4-3/8oz jigs and Texas rigs, paddle tail swimbaits) 12# Fluoro 7' - 7'6" Casting - MH/F (1/2oz jigs and Texas rigs, spinner baits, buzzbaits, chatter baits) 12# Fluoro or 12# mono 6' - 6'10" Casting or Spinning - M/F (jerkbaits, small top water: spooks, pop-r's) 10# Fluoro or 15# mono 7' Casting - M/M (Crankbaits, Lipless) 12# Fluoro 7' Casting - H/XF (1oz jigs, frogs) xx# Braid + 15# Fluoro leader or straight braid Only 6 rods would be hard for me, as i use different line for almost every technique. But a ball park break down would look something as the above mentioned.

At Home Rod Storage
I want to do something like this so bad. But my basement ceiling is right around 7 ft so 80% of my rods cant be vertical.

Got My First Powell Today! #win
Now just got to figure out which reel. If i could get away with 6.x:1 for the cranks I would be all set. Im tempted to buy the 4.9:1 Lexa. Theres really nothing slow other than the chronarch in lefty available. Dont want to spend 200. If I had the cash I'd be all over the Zillion crazy cranker.
