I have better luck wacky rigged on a medium light rod. Once the line starts moving gently lift up and start reeling. Only down fall with my method is I/You run the chance of gut hooking the fish which isn't good. Its finding the right time from when they take it in to the time they want to swallow to get the hook pinned. Running a 3 or 4/0 t rigged I had the same issue as you. Either way I get snagged a lot!!! I'll pitch right into a downed tree and pray my rod won't snap trying to muscle him up through the tiny opening between branches lmao I mustve re tied 100 times this weekend. lmao

I tried Zooms version, its not the same. Doesn't sink as fast not as heavy for the pitch, etc. Good for drop shooting I'd assume (but haven't tried). My buddy gets a knock off brand on ebay, gonna have him check if they have this color scheme. The fish don't care about brand names lol.

No it's green on one half and clear on other with silver sparkles. Yea a lot of people say color doesn't matter, but up here I've tried numerous colors for past few years and maybe 2 bass total. This color I'm catching 30-40 bass by noon.Seriously skip it under tree, bam! Skip it under dock, bam! Skip it towards rock pile, bam! Tourney yesterday I went through 2 bags by like 1pm, after that tried Zooms version same color and nothing. 2 other colors of GY, green pumpkin something and watermelon, nothing hit em. Ended up getting one more by 3pm on a DT 10.

Just read on the DSG site under the 5" pack that it's a limited edition color. I'll post a pick tonight.

Couple weeks ago at Dicks I saw the Yamamoto kit one of the colors was a epiphany moment so I looked through the endless rows of senko bags to match the color. It is labeled green flash individually. I bought a bag and went practice for a tournament few weeks back. Never had great success with the other colors but this color was like fishing with dynamite that day. Figured it was a fluke tried em again 4 tourneys 3 practice days 8 bags later, it is not a fluke. This is my go to color, problem now... Is this a DSG exclusive color? I can't find em anywhere else online. My local Dicks is sold out thanks to me. Lol I wanna literally max out a CC on these.

Did you have spool of line come over the top towards reel when you spooled the line. If you did it vice versa or sideways that could create a issue. Think, the insides of a cassette tape.

I cant hear the drag buzz on my BC reels but when my stradic starts zinging I get excited. All my days of salt fishing for Blues and Stripers with 6000 series reels brought me to admire the sound of drag peeling. With that said I can relate. lol

no he didn't I asked name of line and he said he couldn't say yet. I called about the tw exclusive football jig rod that's no longer offered seeing what they have that's comparable. He said a very similar rod is launching in the new series.

Called Powell to see if by any chance they still had a TW exclusive football rod available, he said no, but in less than 90 days theyre launching a new line that will feature that model. I asked name of line he said he cant say yet. That might be something to look into. So Powell guys, Inferno>Max>Endurance. What are you paying for spending the extra $30-$80. Inferno 765C looks like a good bet.

Thanks everyone. Ive been throwing braid w and w/o leader definitely better sensitivty down there. Was thinking trying straight fluoro this summer, 10-12#. Again appreciate feed back, gonna grab something 7'4-7'6 H/XF. A buddy recommended IROD's Freds magic stick. Gonna look into the 13's first.
