You all are using the words inefficient and ineffective interchangeably. They are 2 different words with 2 different meanings. If you are a run and gun power fisherman, yes, they are inefficient. If you are more relaxed and looking to put fish in the boat, they are neither inefficient or ineffective. Brian.

Then your handle was loose. The only thing the handle nut does is hold the handle on. Brian.

Tightening your handle nut only tightens the handle to the drive shaft, it does not pull EVERYTHING tight, just crushes your handle. Brian.

Got 2 setups exactly like that. While the green is not a perfect match, they are quite pleasing to the eye. They fish extremely well also. Brian.

If it takes a while to happen, fatigue is setting in and you're starting to use your shoulder to cast more than the rod, especially trying to bomb casts. Brian.
