Chatter Baits Vs Buzz Baits Vs Spinner Baits
I use each for their intended purpose, they are 3 different baits. I would throw them in some of the same areas, but they're 3 different baits. Brian.

Diawa Ss1300, Does Anyone Else Use One On Here Anymore?
Tim Hoover, of Backroom Baits, has 6 of them on the boat at all times. He takes a ribbing from the guys fishing with him using their JDM gear. But they work day in and day out, 250+ days a year, 50+ fish a day. Brian.

Gen 2(Red) Cumara Reel Pairing
The Sustain is USDM, the 2500 & 3000 weigh in at 8.3oz., while the CI4+ 2500 weighs in at 6.8 while the 3000 is at 7.0 oz.. The Complex is a JDM and I have them on 6'8"-7'6" and the balance has never bothered me, can't remember the reel weight offhand. The Cumara 6'8" MH/Ext. Fast w/the Complex are joys to fish with, spooled the combo weighs in at 8.5oz.'s. Brian.

Gen 2(Red) Cumara Reel Pairing
Sustain should move the balance point back a bit, or any heavier reel. I have Complex CI4 2500HGS F6's on mine and like the balance just fine. Brian.

Smallmouth With Cancer
For what it's worth. From the beginning of June till the present, we have not boated a single fish on the Susquehanna/Juniata that had a sore or growths of any type. I'm not talking 10-20 fish, I'm talking 1000's of fish. That is encouraging, we seen a bunch of fish in the last few years with sores and growths. Brian.

Catching The Same Fish Twice
That's awesome. I have one in a local lake that has a scar in the same place. I caught her the beginning of May and caught her again last week. She weighed 4-2 in May and 4-3 last week and she was on the other side of the lake from where I caught her in May. Hopefully I can catch her this fall and get a weight on her.

Leader Knot Through Guides Okay?
I do it all the time, also with Micro's. It will beat the knot up some, but I've never had an issue with it and I'm bombing 1/2oz.+ Baits. Keep working on your knot to get it as small as possible. Brian.

Neko Rig
I rig mine with a 2/0-3/0 EWG and rig it weedless. I think the whole idea of a NEKO rig is the nose weighted hook, rig your hook however you deem necessary. Brian.
