  1. 3.75" Back Room Bait's Paddletails, color appr. for water clarity. Juniata and Susquahanna Guides order them 500 at a time, they catch fish. Water gets a bit warmer, Spinnerbaits and Squarebills. Brian.
  2. Wobble Head Jig. Brian.
  3. I could have married an ugly woman, but I much prefer my pretty one. Brian.
  4. I fished it one time last Fall on a miserable day, cold and monster wind. We caught fish at every place we thought should hold fish. Nothing noteable size wise, but had a super day considering the conditions. I'll have to take a trip down there in the next few weeks. You going along, I have an open seat? Brian.
  5. I don't. They keep me eating Ramen Noodles!!! Brian.
  6. What answer are you looking for? You've asked the same thing, with slight variances, 3x's. Brian.
  7. I've started to use them only Wacky Rigged or Dead Sticked. Both these methods have proven to be completely reliable in the waters I fish. I never use them weighted Texas Rigged anymore as I've found straight Ringed Worms( Grande Bass Rattlesnake, Big Bite Baits Coontail ) to out fish them by a wide Margin. YMMV. Brian.
  8. Clewiston, Belle Glade, we've fished these area's in a Uncle Bucks Pond Prowler. Stay in the canals and at Clewiston you can catch fish as soon as you put in. Lot of Tourneys out of there with released fish. Brian.
  9. T-Rigs, Paddle Tails, Swimbaits etc.. Like a hook with a screw keeper, this one just uses a barb. They work well as they don't tare Senko's up as much. Brian.
  10. We were on the Susquahanna Smallie fishing last week and I couldn't keep the Walleye at bay. Brian.
  11. To have my Girls or Retiring? The having the Girls part is private, the Retiring part was hard. Worked 22 years in Plant Eng./Maint. on 3rd. shift. Had a friend who had a Home Construction Comp. and when he was busy I'd get off work at 6am. and go work for him, during the summer. Socked away my Max. in IRA's and 401K and did without some things people deem necessary. Invested wisely, was frugal, and purchased things that made money i.e. Rentals and a Tavern. It's tough at times, but you need to focus on the finish line not the next step. So when my Buds who were drinking every weekend, had to have all the latest and greatest are going to work, I'm launching the boat. Brian.
  12. My Wife, my Girls and retiring at 45.....not always in that order. Brian.
  13. Let me know when you're ready to Field Test, I can be there in 14 hours. Brian.
  14. I've never seen a 2mm guide. I thought 3's and 4's where tiny, dang that's small. Brian.
  15. If high speed start and stop means engaging the clutch while turning the handle, don't do that. Brian.

I'm pouring all my craws, ribbed worms, Senkos, paddle tails, finesse worms etc.. I like the ability to change my plastics formulation, soft to hard, and to make color twerks. I feel my baits are as good or better than anything I can buy, in the styles I shoot, because of that reason. Brian.
  17. I can't put you at a ramp, I was a guest, but not very far. That River is much overlooked, due to the Susquahanna being so good. Brian.
  18. I'll second robster80 on McCoy Copoly. Nicest line out of any Mono, Copoly, or Flouro I've ever used. Check the reviews on Tackle Warehouse for McCoy Mean Green and Extra Clear Copoly, not a bad one in the bunch. Brian.
  19. Juniata. You being from Falling Waters, you fish Sleepy Creek any? Brian.
  20. I'm not a big Smallie fisherman, all my Buds are. One of my friends, who own's Backroom Baits, ask me to go with him to Field Test some new colors of baits. I took him up on it and the trip was a success. We fished a section of River we were both unfamiliar with. We ran several miles upstream getting a feel for it and waypointing some areas that looked promising. We ended up with 28 fish in 4 hours and none under 2lbs.. I don't know what it weighed or how long it is, I just know I've never caught a Smallie this big before, don't fish for them very often. Brian.
  21. Don't know about the new model Crucial, but the old IM-10 Crucial Dropshot Rod is fantastic for Weightless Senkos. It is also a fantastic Wacky rod. Brian.
  22. Lousy tail grabb'n Gillies!!!!! Brian.
  23. As Deep stated, casting distance is paramount. If you have a Creek Channel 75 yards off the bank and you can only cast 50, your out of luck with those fish. You need to find baits and a Rod/Reel combo that allows you to bomb baits, when needed, and line that allows a solid hookset at those distances. Brian.
  24. Susquahanna Fishing Tackle has the LH 7.1 BB1 on sale right now. Brian.
