  1. I fish the KDS 110's. Great Jerkbait at a awesome price. Brian.
  2. Chatterbait w/a spike keeper, ball rattle and wide gap hook. Got a few in Black. Blk/Blue, Black/Purple and Brown. No idea where I got them from. Brian.
  3. Great sites to deal with. Shipping is about 4-10 days, mostly depends on Customs. Brian.
  4. Yo-Zuri will punch Strens lights out then steal his girlfriend. Yo-Zuri is way stronger than rating, it is very abrasion resistant, and fairly limp in the smaller diameters. Brian.
  5. Let me know when they're done, I'll come down and we can try them out. Sick of all this snow. Brian.
  6. Just got the Smallie girls all serviced, just waiting for the thaw. Might take a bit after just getting hammered with 34" of snow. Brian.
  7. C'mon... You can't say that with a straight face, can you? Maybe the color and trueness of the crankbait, or the luck of an experienced angler, had something to do with it? Or, maybe... We've figured out how to embed into a crankbait an intelligent chip that computes in real-time all physiological information from largemouth bass weighing in excess of 6lbs w/in a 10' perimeter of the lure and presents accordingly a biological stimuli lab-proven to elicit predatory responses from each of the largest and most proximate bass? Still a gimmick, IMHO. Randy Howell won the 2014 Classic with the help of a Livingston lure. I typed this with a straight face. Brian.
  8. I wouldn't call a lure that helped win the Classic a Gimmick. Brian.
  9. War Eagle Finesse Silver Shiner, War Eagle Finesse Pond Scum Perch. Silver Shiner in the clear, Pond Scum Perch w/any color. Brian.
  10. We're in the same boat(no pun intended). I keep reel covers on my reels whenever they're not in my hands. I've been doing it so long it's second nature anymore. I can swap the cover from one reel to another, as I pick one up and put one down, in one motion. Brian AKA; I despise boat rash.
  11. Awesome job Lee. Brian.
  12. Shimano DC Reels, the Daiwa's where the line guide separated into 2 pieces when you pressed the thumb bar, and the Wave Spinning Reels. Brian.
  13. That was probably done to help with level line lay on the reel. A spiral wrap has a tendency to stack line on the side of the spool the spiral rotates to. Brian.
  14. Every trip we make to Florida we always spend a day or 2 bank fishing around Port St. Lucie. We were just turned on to a new small Lake on Dec. 30th. We didn't catch to many fish, but we were able to put a 5.24 on the bank. Brian.
  15. Buy a kit of RC Car 4mm shims. The kit should have .05-.25mm shims in it. Shim from the bottom of the knob shaft to remove all play. Brian.
  16. Correct, the OP ask for a comparison and they compare it to the Curado 1, the reel he was asking for it to be compared too. Sorry I couldn't be of service, won't happen again. Brian.
  17. They have a write up on it and do a lot of comparisons to the Curado 1.
  18. Go to Tackle Tours Home Page and click Reels, scroll down the list and you will find reviews on both reels. Brian.
  19. Placed 2 orders recently and have received both. Saved a bunch with 40% off and a little patience. I also placed an order with TW for the Black Friday sale and just received it today. We sure live in a instant gratification society anymore, stupid Microwave Ovens. Brian.
  20. 46 degree water dragging a Rage Blade at the bottom of a drop off in 12'. Letting the Blade settle then just reeling fast enough to keep it shake'n. Brian.
  21. Stay at Roland Martin Marina on the Big O , call Steve Daniel and book a trip, and there are some excellent bank fishing opportunity's around there also. Brian.
  22. Same spool from either side. Brian.
  23. There is no bearing on any of the XT1000, or any of the Curado/Chronarch 50E spools. So yes, it just drops right in. You'll just need to install 4 brake pipes. Brian.
  24. We have ourselves a winner. Brian.
  25. In PA that's a big NO-NO. The Game Commission has shut entire mountain sides down after bait has been found. Brian.
