Value Jet Memorial In Miami,,, Good Or Bad Fishing???????
There are ramps for both L67 and L67 C (also known as little 67) in the memorial area. Lots of big bass fishing throughout the years in this area. Good ramps in both locations. Like someone said it's a deep canal in places on the big L. There are also freshwater springs in the same area. It all = good fishing. If your walking the bank be careful. Big critters of all types around.

Fishing In Calm Water
I live in South Florida. On dead calm days I will fish, although these are usually tough times. I will throw weightless, using a fluke or senko and let it slowly work its way through the water column on slack line. Two or three short jerks and let it sit still again. It can be like watching paint dry, but you will catch fish and sometimes quality fish.

Arbogast Buzz Plug Anyone???
I have had one for almost a year. I have caught fish on them but always in shallow weedy areas in early morning or late evening. Lots of surface noise, totally weedless. Fun to throw even In strong wind. Part of the arsenal!

Lots Of Fish In Canal Behind Homestead Race Track.
I worked with a guy that pulled an 8+ bass out of there with a fly rod and big streamer. Big bass in that system.

Pulled In My First Peacock Today!
Peacock are sure special here in south Florida. You know almost immediately you have something special hooked when you set the hook on a decent size one. Long crazy runs, airborne flips, and none stop action even when landed. One of the best gamefish anywhere I'm the world.

What Was Your Best Day Fishing?
Alligator Alley in the everglades can be a magical place at certain times of the year. When the water starts to drop in the massive glades bass must find deeper water or die. They go to gator holes, river channels, and the massive canal system cut through the swamp to control flooding. When all the big bass move into this system fishing can get off the chart. There are boat ramps all throughout the system, and excellent opportunities for fisherman. 200 to 300 catch rates are not uncommon for all day trips. Many fish will be in the 4 to 6 pound range. Seldom do you catch really huge bass in the glades because some bass never make it back to the deeper water and become gator food. For sear numbers the eyerglades stand by themselves as one of the best spots in the world for catching. Great to live in south Florida!

Your Fishing Days Per Year
Living in south Florida it's ideal for fishing. On weekends I go out in the everglades in the boat. Almost everyday I fish one of seven small lakes in Weston Florida from the shore. All lakes have a nice supply of black and peacock bass. Probably fish 250 days a year. Great to live in South Florida.

What You Don't Like About Fishing

Dumb Line Question.
I will not use less then #15 lb test in Florida because of the size you can catch and all the weeds you encounter. I will go heavier at times.

What You Don't Like About Fishing
I don't like the cut throat attitude of competitive bass fishing. Don't show what your using, where your going, or how much you caught. I enjoy fishing with others in the boat, and sharing techniques and spots. I have learned allot from others I have fished with, and enjoy sharing what I have learned. Fishing is relaxing and a form mental therapy. If a partner is catching fish, and having fun, I am thrilled. I fish almost every evening during the week from the bank. There is nothing better then an open bank, Pandora, and a big fish on the line.

Going On An Everglades Camping-Fishin Trip All Alone ( Am I Insane)?
I would be more worried about equipment failure or sudden bad weather then anything else. Make sure you take more water then you really need.

Dream Bass Boat?
If you had no money issues, plenty of storage space and lots of time to fish, what would be your dream bass boat setup?

Florida Everglades L67A & C Canal
I never had a problem, but I always parked at the ramp right on 41 and not the steep ramp on the big L. The other ramp is just past the airboat tour site on 41 on the north side of the road. It is a small angled ramp just past the flood control gate you drive over. There is plenty of parking right next to the ramp. The visibility is better there then on the Big L site.

Interesting Situation, How Would You Fish This?
I like Nitrofreaks response. I would do it exactly the same way.

Weirdest Place You've Caught Bass
Before Alligator Alley was widened to 4 lanes, I caught a big bass out of the bed of a Ford Ranger Truck. The truck was dumped in the south canal at one of the bridges just west of the toll booth, in 10 feet of water. The truck was in the canal for years. After that day I fished that truck on every trip.
