My wife's Christmas present. 10 weeks old. "Griffin" Solid 18lbs House breaking is going good, so is crate training. Our other dog is a 8 year old Sheltie. He's an old salt, dont put up with that puppy bs, biting, jumping, nipping. Lol I dont hunt, but he will be a faithful fishing buddy. Gotta get some ice thawed to work on his sea legs. Lets see your buddies. Helpful info appreciated.

Does the OK DNR have cabins like how KDWPT does at the bigger lakes? Ive looked at cabins at various places on Grand, like Pine Lodge, 158/night for a 4-5 person cabin in the woods, not lake front. Kinda steep for what I was thinking.

Theoretically if its at Grand, amd I wanted to arrange my family vacation aroound this time, give me some lodging options.

My votes are Melvern and Grand. Know nothing of Shawnee or any of the 2 day lakes, so Ill need to pick the brain of ppl that has been.

Grand is closest for me at 3.5hrs... LOZ and Table Rock are 5hrs. If its the 31st, I should be able to go.... Im not picky... being Ive NEVER fished any of those lake before. My boys will be out of school, so Id probably take Xander with me.

We had some equipment come in from England and inside was huge packs of Silica. 100g each packet. Ive heard it's good to prevent moisture buildup and rust hooks. Since these are obviously too big for plano boxes in the current packaging, could I make small pouches to put into the boxes?
