I used a Yakima system on my WRX Wagon. Worked great. Put pool noodles for cushion, good to go.

Use a Liquid Tite Fitting after you drill the hole. The green in the middle is a Nerf Ballistic ball that I cut down and sanded.

Its got smallies.... lol I fished it a few times. Lucas Point I caught some decent smallies. 2.5 lb There is a cove of docks on the SE side of Minooka Park area. Hell Creek Area near Otoe is steep bluff walls. The North East side near dam has a submerged point that extends out. There is quite a bit of tall reeds going south from dam on east side in little coves. 3 or so coves south of the spillway boat ramp there is what looks to be a old gravel ramp that extends out a good bit. All the protein Ive used over the years... ON Gold Standard - Great Stuff. Tastes good. No extra carbs or calories. Only Whey Gaspari Myofusion - Great Stuff. Thicker than ON, but a great taste. More carbs, and Cals for bulking. Trutein - Excellent Stuff. Best taste Ive experienced. Cinnamon Roll tastes like a Cinnamon Roll... or the milk from Cinnamon Toast Crunch. 3 different kinds of Protein. 40% whey, 40% Casein, 20% Egg Albumen. Great Product. Humapro - Not Whey, synthetic protein. 6gram dose equals same 29g whey. Odd flavors, tastes like regurgitated fruit. But mixes well in post work out sports drinks. No Gastrointestinal issues like you get with whey. Bloating, gas, etc.. Out of all those, Trutein is my fav. The different types of Protein it has encourages better muscle recovery/growth.

If you are anchoring in current ( which isnt recommended) you wanna be able to release quickly. When I used one I used a button that my paddle keeper bungee hooked on, then used the bungee to help hold it. I fish lakes though. No current.

Finished with the headunit. Made a boo boo but, was able to cover it up. Tried to cut a circle for the plastic grommet, messed it up. Tried to use the wrong tool. Go figure. So, I used the plastic cover, and tried again. Took my time, and got it looking pretty good. Tidied up the wires with a old rod sock. Now to scrape off old 3M sealant and mount a transducer mounting board and tackle the transom.

Finally warmed up enough that my fingers wouldnt get frostbit out in the garage. Single 798, console mount. Its a slow process for me so Ill update as I progress. Going to run the wires out directly under the ball mount. Using the supplied HB wire cover. Next time (next boat) will be doing a better job. You live, you learn. Photobombed by Griffin the pup. Lol

Melvern is horrible, LaCygne has dinks, Milford Blue Green Algae and is closed. State Fishing Lakes blow, and certainly dont fish any of the Pits in SE Kansas.
