Ive seen one of those. I think they are geared more toward the gimbal mount like 800-1100 series

My problem is where to mount it for dual use. The right side of my console is straight nothing horizontal to mount to... Thinking that a vertical mount on the side. Might interfer with docking.

Ive seen them 150, I thought. The mount is only 35 I think. I might just mount it on console where it can swing toward the bow.

Since ordering and knowing Ill only have one unit, working out dual mounting locations. Looks like another base, ducer, power wire is all. Oh and a HB cover for the screen!!!

While I havent been out lately, Id start looking for vegetation that hasnt died off yet. Then shallows with deep water close by, or baitfish balls. In the winter when vegetation dies off, bass will tend to relate more to rock and wood if not in deeper water around structure breaks. Or so Ive read. LOL

Carl, that is subject to brand fanboys. Im not affiliated with anybody. But Ive only had the HB 346. Im not going to say its better than the 4X DSI cause I dont know if it is or not.

I have dealt with St. Coix before on a broke Avid. Used the Gold Star Plan and got a new rod. Yea, I paid shipping. I got a call 5 days later from a rep saying they got my rod, and they will replace it. Asked if I wanted to upgrade to a Legend. I declined and that was that. Got my rod back about a week later. Try calling back, speak with someone else, explain what happened. Or I'll pm you my addy and you can give me the broken rod. Ill even pay for shipping.

I like the HB. Good quality images. Having the 2D sonar is a great tool as well.

I have a 346, its a nice little unit. Had it on my kayak, transferred to my bass boat. Might even sell it. Im thinking of upgrading to Side Imaging.

I had a infestation of crickets from parking overnight at work. Man, i bet there was over 100!! Tossed all I could in the lake. Mist definately remove everything. Electronics, gear, tools, etc

Whats the chances we can get 4 ppl for the Roadtrip? Carpool, split gas, blah blah blah.
