  3. Lol, Im not sure of my mount. Ill have to dig around and see if I can find the box. My garage is a mess.
  4. If your unit SI? I dont recall a plastic plug for my DI ducer
  5. I got a rooster tail on my Lowe too. I haven't tried adjusting yet though.
  6. Ill give it a go this year!!
  7. Same thing for Zebras. We joke in the KC Area thread about Lake Wabaunsee's Gate Ladies. Spraying boats with bleach before you can launch, livewells, trailers. Then again before you leave. Questioning you, giving you the 3rd degree about where youve fished, when you fished it.
  8. Beat me to it Clayton. ^^^^ What he said
  9. Definate perch of the white variety. In Kansas, you must kill it.
  10. Or atleast take the pic with open water behind you. You'd be amazed what people can spot in pics.
  11. They are crap. Whats your paypal so I can refund your money?
  12. 50mph isnt nearly fast enough for SFLs. HAHAHAHA
  13. X2 on the Toggs. Granted Im referring to warm ambient temps and rain. Not late fall early spring a temperature rain that would call for more of a insulated rain gear
  14. 100% stands behind. PM Mike.
  15. Here in Kansas all the State Fishing Lakes and Ramps at bigger lakes have buildings with a hole in the ground toilet. In my experience, you dont count on them to be well stocked with toiletries.
  16. I will be looking at better hooks for this application. Matzuo is what I currently have, and Ive seen them bend is with a solid hookset. Eagle Claw are like pewter. Looking at Mustad, or Gammys.
  17. Good info, John. I know you fish for all different species, with lighter gear mixed in. I low stick to the side as much as I can. The fish will fight, pulling away, but then turns toward the direction Im trying to get it. A surge or 2, makes me change back directions. Then it will turn back that way. All of this usually within 6ft of the boat. They get close with me turning them, then surge down. I dont catch alot of bigger fish. When I do, its on a Slammer with 1/0 & #1 Owner Trebles, Hollow Frog with 65# braid, etc. Its always bigger/stouter gear. I rarely swing fish, and definately wouldnt with lighter line/hooks/rods. Maybe netting at first chance with the handle extended is something I can try.
  18. I did find alot of the bigger smallies werent hammering it. Just subtle, weighted feeling. If it was a thump, it was a white or a drum.
  19. I was using a RI Little Dipper. They didnt seem to like that too much. :\
  20. Rod is a Powell Max M/XF Spinning. For the presentation I was utilizing, light wire jighead hooks are essential. I have a net, and both times, a co-angler. Im wondering if I should be loosening the drag a bit and let them run a bit more to tire. The Reel is a Shimano Ultegra Advance S, Shallow Spool, So I don't have a ton of line to work with, but a little.
  21. Saugeye was on a Series 2 RC square bill, smallies on a 3/32oz #2 thin wire hook. Light line.
  22. Just not my year I guess. Ive had one heck of a time getting big fish in the boat. Losing them boat side or close to the boat is a recurring nightmare. Ive lost a possible state record Saugeye, and today, 2 Smallies that was close to 5lb. I let the fish do its thing and not muscle it. But apparently thats not working. Ideas, tips, tricks?
  23. Shakeys, Neds, plastic swimbaits, few on lipless for us. Oddly enough, to pigs I lost came in around 5FOW. With Deeper water nearby. Both fish were thought as snags at first. No bite/thump. Just weight.
  24. Over 19. Both. One dark dark brown. Other lighter color. Both Smallies, both TANKS
  25. I had fun today guys. Much better if I landed those 2the monster smallies. My run of bad luck continues. Sorry to say it will be the last long trip for me for a while. Just too much $$ in gas. Looks like Butler and the sand pit will be all I see for a while. Wish I got to try that pink 110 Curt. Didnt get a chance to hunt you down.
