  1. THAT d**n WALLEYE WAS!!!! *ANGERFACE* Ill let Clayton talk about his breakoffs, big fish, and bite turning on on the way back to the ramp.
  2. Dont tell sizzle, they will be trolling all day. Hahaha
  3. He did. I lost some fish..... namely a 7+lb Walleye. I had a few smallies, largies, sunfish, one crappie.
  4. Not quite the 4.5 i said you'd stick but congrats! Lol
  5. Sounds lile we got tons of boats with single anglers. You can cookout there, but it dont have the amenities as bigger lakes have.
  6. Boyish charm, aka slipped her the meat. Lol
  7. Pfft, Call into work Run around on your wife Dont be around Use bill money to buy a boat Lie your butt off Fish everyday you call into work. * kayak is the way to go. Low investment/maintenance. Can be had fairly cheap used. If you find one, PM me and Ill send you some tie down straps.
  8. That will get the job done for sure. I would suggest fishing it as is for now, after a few trips you'll start noticing what you like, and what you dont like. Then you'll see ways you can make it more "yours" to fit your needs. Congrats
  9. I can screenshot the 937. Just figured it out last night. Lol.
  10. I can tell you where you WONT catch fish. I know those places by heart.
  11. Finally!!!! The stars aligned, I was holding my mouth right, the moons orbit was correct, I was able to fish!!!! Got to the lake straight after work. Owner of the lake told me that the bite has been TOUGH for a few weeks now. Last time I was out there, Dinkfest 2013. Started with a dink on a RC Series 2 Squarebill. That same Squarebill also picked up a nice little Crappie. Shortly after that, it died.... Not the fish, the bite. So I decided to break out my old friend from many many years ago, the CRig. Haven't fished one in well over 11 years. Didn't have the correct setup I'd like to have, but it made due. Jigging Rod, 65lb Braid, 2 Bullet Lead Weights, 18-20" Fluoro Leader, and a Trick Worm nessled on a 5/0 Gammy EWG Hook. Anchored down from the wind pushing me all over, and nailed one in 18FOW. My nemesis is deeper water, and pegging one in 18' really made me feel good. Nothing Huge. 17" was the Length, and it was well fed. But look like it went a round or 2 with Mayweather. Now it's time to start putting pieces together for a better CRig Setup. Tungsten Barrel Weights, Good Swivels, etc... Can't wait to get out again and drag some plastics!
  12. So, decipher this a bit for me. All this is baitfish? Darker Red areas in the middle are bigger fish (Bass/Predator Fish)?
  13. Definitely what slone said. Make them to the edge if not longer and cut to fit after boat is on it. Watch for any transducer position.
  14. Jim, Do you have bunks currently on the trailer?
  15. You'll have to wait and see Curt!!!
  16. Excited to fish Bunsee. Hope its open!!! Thanks Mike, and all the other sponsors!!!
  17. Bunk relation to the trailer is negligible. Bunks support the boat. Adequate support for the hull is most important.
  18. Mine is flush with the transom. My ducer mounting choices are limited, so I had to put it on line with the bunk. Hence the blunk flush with the transom
  19. Man!!! That fish scared the tick out of ya, Mike. Nice Chunk.... Drop Shottin' Eh?
  20. 11 months ago from his post. If you are running lean, then there is obviously an issue with having more air than fuel. This could be caused by something letting too much air into the mixture, or not letting enough gas (probably more feasible) You can either start at the front, or the back and work your way up. Fuel pump not pumping adequately, dirty fuel filter, gas lines dry rotted, fuel pressure regulator faulty, clogged fuel rail/injectors, or just faulty injectors. 190k is a ton of miles. You could just say you got the most out of it and trade it in. Or start pumping money into it and possibly never figure it out, then trade it in and be out of that money.
  21. Sure enough, Curt. Im sure a simple call to the gate should provide some info
  22. Wanna know what happened? School Shootings, Movie Theatre Shootings, Shootings in general. Kids taking their Dads 1911 to school. Kids shooting kids. I remember those days too. My son has Nerf Guns. Watches Nerf vids on Youtube. I still contain what he does with them because of my youngest with Autism. He wants to play Nerf Guns like his brother, except its hard for him to distinguish between when it's appropriate and when it's not. What he should say in school and what he's not.
  23. There is a place not far from where I live that is a "Private" in the know place. You can lease it, and have a discounted pay per play, or fish it as a guest and pay more to play per day. I have caught my PB there this year, I have fished it 3 other times since, and haven't caught a thing over 3lbs. It's a tough lake to fish. I fish that lake when I have a short time to fish. It's close, and the cost of it would be about how much gas I would spend to fish different venues. But it gets ALOT of pressure. More than I would think would be healthy for a lake. The guy that owns it makes a killing!!! I wouldn't pay $100 for a day of fishing, unless it was a guided day, with a discount on lodging, and an extra day of NON-guided. Call me cheap, call me frugal. I know I can catch big fish in the local public lakes to meet if not beat my PB that I caught out of that private lake.
